week 4 - trial; day 1
 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Autopsy Report
Cause of Death - Appears to be exsanguination from incised wound
Body Discovery - Approximately 9:00AM
Time of Death - Between 1:00AM and 4:00AM
Condition of Body - Stomach and throat slit open. Glitter coating hands. Bruising on right hand, left shoulder, and left forearm; small bruise on side of neck. First degree burns on various parts of body.
Condition of Scene - Victim found laying in locked jail cell of the police station. Room on fire, slowly burning.

8:00 pm: Cooked dinner for myself in kitchen. Kept being bothered by an annoying pest begging for food.
8:30 pm: Ate my meal, accompanied by Urashima Kotetsu.
9:20 pm: Returned to my room, annoying brat followed me.
9:30 pm: Trained. Brat tried to keep up but has horrible balance and is easily distracted, though his endurance isn't bad. Kept complaining the whole time. It's amazing that a weakling like him has survived this long, especially considering he is supposed to be a weapon.
1:00 am: Brat finally fell asleep. I prepared for bed and went to sleep myself.
7:00 am: Woke up. By the time I went downstairs investigation had already begun.

6pm-8pm: Did laundry, with Gilbert's assistance.
8pm-8:45pm: Returned to my room, put away laundry, and took a bath.
8:46?: Went upstairs to Hajime's room, as we had agreed earlier in the morning to be "buddy system" partners. We both returned to my room, as my immunity made it the safer option of the two. We talked for a while before going to bed.
11pm-6am: Slept
6am-9am: Woke up, waited for about an hour for Hajime to wake up as well. We talked for a bit before going down to the kitchen for breakfast.

Spent Thursday afternoon in the kitchen until Gilbert made dinner, and then dessert. We were there for a while, since I was taunting Gilbert with Emily, and he didn't appreciate it. Maybe an hour or so? He did leave to go do laundry, and I enjoyed my dinner. Rhys also stopped by, and I taunted him with Emily instead.
Gilbert at least came back once he was done, and I spent some time chatting with him in his room. Not quite as long as we were at dinner, I don't think.
I spent the rest of the evening in my room, of course. I left my room early when I heard Gilbert also getting up. We were going to eat breakfast like we usually do, but the fire delayed that.
(Also, for the record, I have no idea what times any of this took place. I can't read a clock.)

8:05 pm: Made spaghetti sandwiches.
8:15 pm: Ate dinner! IT WAS DELICIOUS.
9:00 pm: Went back to my room with Papyrus. Took a shower, changed, etc.
10:00 pm: Polished armor and hung out with Papyrus.
10:30 pm: Sans came into the room, read Papyrus his bedtime story.
11:00 pm: Gave Papyrus his bedtime noogie, went to sleep.
5:00 am: Woke up, chatted with Papyrus while doing daily morning work-out.
6:00 am: Attempted to wake up Sans, gave up. Headed downstairs for breakfast.

One conclusion we can glean is Selena utilized the tome against her assailant. Unfortunately for her, I believe this is what the killer wished. It is not unreasonable to consider that the culprit waited for Selena to use the tome so they could start a fire. The culprit must have overpowered her, struck her down, and locked her within a cell, then stole her weapon in the midst of the chaos. As the fire began to rage, they escaped the burning building. Before that, however, they must have returned the key... It's likely they hoped the fire would burn down the entirety of the station as well as completely dispose of any remaining evidence.
