week 4 - trial; day 1

seven vices case 4 trial, day 1 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? victim   suspects      cast setting rulebook

Well, I didn't say that. I couldn't see you or Vegeta doing it - you're straightforward. But Break doesn't seem to be. I'm not saying he for sure did it, but he's the only one of us I haven't written off.

True, but Gilbert sounds like he means it when he says Break would never go for this kind of motive. Plus we're the only team that hasn't lost anyone yet! It'd be super lame of him to go breaking that record now! If he did it, we don't need to execute him because I'LL KILL HIM MYSELF!!

The only way for someone with pride as their assigned sin to not have done it is for either Vegeta or Hinata to have slept through Urashima or Faize leaving the room.

That could have happened, you don't know! Maybe one of them got drugged! Every case seems to wind up with someone being drugged anyway, it's like a requirement by now. [#SAVETEAMPRIDE]

I didn't see any medication missing, and I've taken to counting the pills. [Do not be biased!] ...I can't imagine someone successfully drugging Vegeta, either.

I can definitely see someone successfully drugging Hinata. [says that flatly with absolute conviction in her voice]

Anyway, we don't even know what the murder weapon is yet! It's way too soon to be jumping to any conclusions. [LIKE THE CONCLUSION THAT ANYONE ON TEAM PRIDE DID IT]

But unless I was injected with something while I was sleeping, I'm pretty sure even I would notice someone jamming pills into my mouth, or, I don't know, what's that stuff they use in movies, chloroform? I think I'd notice that too.
