 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. Welcome welcome to week seven, and congratulations. I hope you enjoyed your week off, as we'll be kicking back into gear, now.
The envelopes on the table contain a photo or description of your most shameful moment. Something you'd never hope others will find out about...but at what cost? Well, that's up to you. By the end of the week, if blood is not spilled again, these will be broadcasted to both everyone in this town, and your home worlds.

The folder he pulls out is a plain black with a white emblem on the front. Whatever that symbol is, it definitely seems to mean something from how Hinata goes absolutely still, sucking in a sudden breath. There's a long moment where he just stares at that folder without opening it, swaying slightly in place before closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, and forcing himself to open it.
It takes a few seconds as his eyes skim over what's likely a page from the way he seems to be reading, then all at once, the color drains from his face. If anyone tries to catch a peek over his shoulder while he's seemingly not paying attention, he'll quickly snap the folder shut before anything can be seen.]
It's bullshit. They're... they're just making stuff up now.

Similarly, in an entirely normal rational manner, Break flinches sharply as soon as he hears Dumpy's horrible demonic screeching. It essentially a reflex that follows, because with a skill like daredeviling, Break somehow knows where exactly Dumpy is hovering. His cane is quickly turned in his hands, and he smacks poor Dumpy with the handle of it rather sharply. And by "sharply" I mean "you would not want this to be hitting you if you were fleshy."

[Yoite's been a bit scare through the week, but by Thursday he decides he might as well try out his new gift. It's bit confusing considering he's not sure why they would give him such a thing, but he might as well make use of it it.
He can be found in the open field in the park, with an object in his hand. At first it seems to be nothing more than a small shuriken, but after some quick hand gestures it grows to this size. He'll be throwing and catching it when it returns to him, kind of like a very pointy boomerang. He'll also be doing his best to not throw it near anyone, but he's kind of zoned out a bit.]

[ While people might expect Inaba to have received another piece of useless crap - her cellphone, maybe even yet another hentai game or DVD or something of that nature? - what she gets is even more sentimental, something that makes her heart ache more than anything. But she doesn't really want people seeing her like this.
She's shown enough weakness as it is, and honestly? She's sick and tired of it.
Which is why she's here, sitting on the grass as she looks through the photo album in her hands. In it are pictures of herself as a child, of her family. Of her friends. And even some clippings from the StuCS newspaper. She finds herself buried in it, crying. ]
Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why did you have to give this to me now? It already hurts to know that he'll probably be with her. . .

[ Inaba is actually here in one of the classrooms. She seems to be dressed to go to class, wearing her usual school uniform. But of course she's with her laptop and she seems to be rather deep in thought about something.
She seems to be playing a visual novel, eyes fixed on the screen as she mutters aloud. ]
I guess this is what I get for not having played this game in years. I can't remember which options don't get me the— [ A beat. ] —fuck, but I already got the stamp for this bad end! Ugh.
[ She tosses her head back for a frustrated moment before sighing. ]
Just because this route has the most bad ends out of all of them doesn't mean I have to get the same one repeatedly! And I just wanted to find a certain scene again to confirm some things...
[ Maybe someone should chastise her for playing visual novels in the classroom. Even more so because she's definitely playing one that is technically classified as an eroge. Hopefully you won't end up seeing the lines of horrible porn text because while the rest of the story is great for this visual novel?
The sex scenes suck. To the point where even Inaba is just slightly miffed by it and when she sees the first few lines of text she just mashes on that "ctrl" button like there's no tomorrow. Although it's easy to tell when it's about to hit an H scene when this creepy, eerie music starts to play. ]

[It's way too early to be stargazing, but that's not stopping Faize from wandering around outside the hotel and staring up at the sky. It almost seems as though he's expecting something to show up.]
[But, of course, nothing does, which prompts him to start futzing with a peculiar bracelet, frowning and muttering to himself. You might be able to catch snippets of his frustrations, should you wander close enough.]
Did they somehow manage to disable syncing functionality? [Oooo, apparently the bracelet makes appropriately futuristic space noises when you mess with it. Fancy.] No, that can't be it... it really must be a universal matter after all... I wonder...

[It's Tuesday, and that means it's time to really test this immunity thing. Yeah, sure, it's fun getting people to try and punch you, but do you know what sounds a thousand times more entertaining? A number of things. You can find Bill:
-Sitting in a laundry basket and sliding down the stairs in the hotel in it, which predictably ends with him either tumbling down the last few stairs because he doesn't make it all the way, or slamming into the wall at the end. Either way he typically ends up in a laughing heap at the bottom. He's at least polite enough to make sure nobody actually needs the stairs before he does this.
-At the table in the kitchen, deftly stabbing a knife into the table between his fingers as he spreads them on the table, palm down. The knife game is a great game to play when you're totally immune from all physical harm, right? He's getting quicker as the game wears on.
-Running full speed and slamming himself - shoulder first - into the side of the hotel outside, falling back from the impact and laying on the ground for a moment before laughing about it.
-Spinning the merry-go-round as fast as possible and then hopping on, without a care in the world if it may fall apart with him on it. BRING IT, DEATH.
-Later on in the evening, standing with his bare feet in the snow by the bonfire. Wait a minute, this isn't super dangerous...is he just trying to test that frost bite thing? Yes and no. (Anyone who was there just a minute ago would have caught him trying to walk barefoot through the fire itself. His pants are still a little singed.)
-Or you'll be the lucky winner to find him plummeting down to Earth from an impressive height. After hitting the ground he doesn't move, but he eventually starts laughing. So he's still alive...yay?
And, okay, so all of this still definitely hurts and he's clearly getting injuries and bruises from it, but he really doesn't seem to care. He's probably going to kill himself before the week is over if this keeps up, everyone get ready for the dumbest murder yet.]
Wednesday
[He's leaning a little more heavily on his cane today as he moves around, right arm shoddily wrapped up and maybe with a limp in his step, but he's got a smile on his face none the less. He's not doing anything dangerous, nor anything strange like he might do normally. Actually he's just amazed he was able to get up and move around to begin with. Everything hurts.
But that doesn't matter! What matters is the strange...animal...creature...pet...thing that he's playing with and explaining the town to. It's a literal flying eyeball, its body being about the size of his head, that's just flitting around and looking at everything. Staying close to Bill, but being a curious little bee none the less.
It doesn't play fetch or anything, but it loves to watch things as they're thrown, or follow interesting sights.]

[There's a basketball court Lithuania is more excited than she rightly should be, probably, but it's only reflected in the very rapid tail wagging of Laima. Lithuania has to go on a hunt for a basketball, but when she finally gets one, she's quick to put it to use, making baskets easily and occasionally playing some strange game of keep-away with Laima, who is apparently used to playing with basketballs enough to know to try to strike it gently with her nose and not her teeth. Lithuania is surprisingly good at keeping this basketball away from a large wolf dog.
Anyone who she notices approaching will get waved at.] Do you know how to play?
B; Wednesday morning, hotel lobby
[Lithuania is sitting in one of the chairs in the lobby with a sword. Just one sword, gleaming as new as the day it was forged, and the look she had on her face approaches reverence as she checks it over for any sign of damage, wear, or age.]
C; Thursday afternoon; near the fire pit
[Lithuania has missed the feeling of a sword in her hands. Oh, she never gave the practice up--even when swords became obsolete, she practiced. Even when being caught with a weapon would have resulted in awful punishment, she snuck in sessions in empty rooms or out of the way acres of land. But it's been six weeks without really touching one of her own swords, and years and decades and centuries thinking this particular one lost or melted down. It's only fair to put it through its paces.
She moves with practiced ease through each swing of the sword, moving it as a natural extension of her arms and letting one motion flow into the next. Her feet seem to float through the motions, one-two-three-four, like a dance with sharp steel.
