seven vices week 7 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Are you kidding? This is all great! Maybe a little beat up, but I've played on worse before!

[Granted he...couldn't get physically hurt from anything breaking before either but details details. He hops up onto said merry-go-round, ignore the squeak it gives under his weight.]

[Faize takes a few step backwards at the squeak. He'll just have to have enough caution for both of them, as Bill apparently has none whatsoever.]

Bill, I...really don't think that is wise. I know you have immunity this week, but somehow I do not believe that device is meant to make a noise like that!

Nah they always squeak! Playgrounds never grease these things well so they squeak when you're playing on them.

[Hopping back down, he moves to take Faize's hand so he can try and pull him onto it.]

[A pause.]

Or do you want me to go first so you can see that it's perfectly safe?

[Needless to say, Faize resists the tugging because he REALLY doesn't think that is at all safe.]

I really...don't think you should either, Bill. I am not certain that something like this is covered under the protection of immunity. Break was able to hurt himself, after all...

[And as if to prove this, he grabs the merry-go-round and starts running around it to gather speed.]

Even if you get hurt on this thing it's not much of an injury! It's a kids toy after all!

[Have at it, Bill, Faize is just going to watch this incredibly ill-advised escapade of yours and wait to see how badly it plays outs. From a safe distance, of course.]

[He will! And once he gets up to a decent (but not dangerous) speed, he hops onto it and holds on tight, happily shouting to his friend on the sidelines.]

[With that kind of answer, he hops off of the merry-go-round. Because obviously Faize is going to need some help to loosen up and have fun.]
