week 7
![]() 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

That's good then. [ A beat.]
What does it sound like?
no subject
I presume then you could not hear it very well...
[ Dhaos tries to think. ]
Hm. Have you heard the sound of wind chimes before?
no subject
I have.
no subject
Either way, it offers a good distraction.

[ Pause, as he turns to shift some sheet music around. Just the one page in front of a few others. ]
If you want, you could name it. Or I could replay a bit of again for you.
no subject
I don't think I'm good at things like that. [ Taking his name from a cat comes to mind.]
But if you replay it again, I'll try harder to listen. [ With that he goes to sit down nearby, placing the scrap paper he was using to the side, and closes his eyes. He'd need to completely focus to have a chance of putting it together.]

[ He'll just take Yoite's word for it, and he begins to play the tune once more, although if anything, it may or may not seem a bit longer since he technically did decide to have it finished. It was now just a matter of writing the rest of the notes down; but it's very brief and not too long either way. So when he finishes soon it's not too much of a surprise. ]
Did that suffice?
no subject
Yes. I could hear it better, but not completely. [ He doesn't seem off put by the admission, because it's progress.]

[ Dhaos turns around to face Yoite once more. ]
How has speaking to some of the others gone for you?
