seven vices week 7 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. ...yes. [ Oddly, no one has asked this question directly before. Takao asked about the Grey Wolves, but that was a bit different. And Yoite knows that Poland isn't really a normal person anyway (though he hasn't really tried to think the concept of country through), so there's no reservation from him.

It's not like he's particularly tried to hide the fact either.]

[ Staring for a few seconds, confused. Let's start with the one thing he actually understands there.]

Mist displacement? [ The poof thing.] I can but it doesn't work here. There 's probably not enough water in the air for it. [ But he holds the shuriken between both hands and recites a word-- the shuriken goes poof! and shrinks to palm sized. Close enough?]

[It's a good thing this relies on the elements in nature, or else this would probably be a bit tiring for Yoite. But he'll nod and hold the shuriken again, except this time he makes several gestures with his hands and recites several words:]

[ With another poof (and a bit of heat), the shuriken is giant sized again.]

Man you must be the best ninja ever if you were able to hide being so cool for so long.

I wasn't trying to hide it. [ ...no one asked, and he's not the most talkative person. Though Kira is something he's been silent about, but that's a specific technique.]

Look you're even better at ninja-ing then you realized!

I don't suppose this stuff is learnable by other people? Or is it like. A passed down techniques thing from the generations?

[ He doesn't get it and blinks a few times.]

Both. Connection is important, but you need the proper scrolls for each art.

[Poland nods sagely.]

No. [ The question is bordering on things he'd rather not talk about, and he looks away.]

[Poland wiggles her arm around, like she's trying to shimmie something out of the sleeve into her hand. Then gracefully chucks a piece of wrapped up strawberry hard candy at Yoite from between two fingers.]

[Catches the wrapper pretty easily on instinct.]

....I don't get it.

It's candy ninjutsu.

It'll rot your teeth. Super lethal.
