seven vices week 7 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. Well, it tends to be healing items, or weapons... there was once a magnificent bow that became a vessel for Mikleo to use for armatization-- that is, to join his powers with Sorey's.

[He glances up from the book to give Alisha a slightly curious look.]

Surely there will be plenty of time for you to do so once we've found a way out of this place?

[Gonna come back to that armatization thing in a bit because if you don't think he's curious about that, you're wrong.]

Unfortunately not. In order to help my kingdom best, I need to focus on peace talks and bringing our war to an end. A princess can't be selfish during such a time... or at all, really.

...ah. [Oops.] Of course, I should have realized. I thought that perhaps, since you are also a knight...it might be...easier.

[But he still really only has half an idea how this monarchy stuff works. He looks back down at the book.]

No, you don't have to apologize! [ INSTANTLY. ] It's true that, as a knight, I am allowed to travel between towns and help where it's needed, but in political matters, my position as a princess tends to come into play more often.

[symbologic]

Mmm... [He glances back up at her. HE STILL FEELS BAD FOR MAKING HER SAD? Because Alisha should not ever be sad.] Perhaps, when the war is over then? As I have little doubt that you will be able to resolve it, eventually. Or am I still grossly misunderstanding the responsibilities you bear as both a princess and a knight?

[He is trying to understand here but this is still all so foreign. Responsibilities and duties, he understands but...in a monarchical context? Not so much.]

Not grossly misunderstanding, no. It will take some time to work out peace talks and follow through on maintaining that peace, if we can manage it, and then perhaps I can start changing more from within but...

One day, perhaps I can see what the world has to offer again.
