seven vices week 7

24 players remaining

monday - thursday

Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic.

>Mingle?

This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday.

When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below.

More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly.

[ Staring strangely at him for a moment. Who memorizes things?? Must be an alien-robot. ]

That's a lot of junk to memorize. But if you can add in a name-change to your hard drive, that'd be nice. I'm going by Charlotte Manson now.
symbologic: in Home Depot is, apparently, strictly frowned upon. (stare ☄ Dueling with garden tools)

I felt it would save time, in the long run. I fear you may have me confused with Rhys, however. There is nothing about me that is cybernetic in nature. [He's just a nerd who's good at memorizing shit.] But I will make note of it, and will refer to you as such from now on.

Thanks. [ Still: ] But you do talk like a robot, you know?
symbologic: and do a whole semester's worth of homework while flying on a unicorn and throwing endless glitter bombs. (ponder ☄ I want to run hundreds of miles)

...do I? [???] Hmm...that's a new one, no one has ever implied as much to me before. Though perhaps Earth robots are different than the sorts I am familiar with.

[ Doing a classic robot voice: ] Robots—talk—like—this. And—use—big—words [ ok too much effort, she's done ] because they don't understand human interaction.
symbologic: for a cooking show and then proceeded to throw cookies at people. (unsure ☄ Apparently I had an idea for a)

.........

[Ouch. Way to go, Sadie, you hurt his human feelings a little.]

I see. However, I assure you, I am every bit as human as you are. But...I suppose you are not completely incorrect with your assessment. Though it would be more accurate to say that I do not understand Earthling interactions, not human interaction in general. You all do things differently than we do on Eldar.

[Be more culturally sensitive, he's actually fairly normal by his people's standards.]
