seven vices week 7 24 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic. >Mingle? This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. She gives Gilbert a longer lookover at that comment though, taking in the full glory of his outfit.]

...so someone broke into your room and dressed you up in some little kid's maid uniform? Ugh, that's so creepy! What kind of sick perverted freak are we dealing with here?! [WHAT KIND OF SICK PERVERT WOULD POSSIBLY REGAIN A SHOTA'S MAID UNIFORM...and why is she staring at Break.]

[ But it's also a sign that Break at least seems to understand that the only real danger here is Undyne... He drops his sword to support Gilbert somewhat better with a low grumble, but it turns to a noise of confusion partway through. Barma's maid uniforms? ]

[ He's not going to feel Gilbert up to check this statement. And he's also not aware that Undyne is looking suspiciously at him, but this is probably a good thing. ]

[Undyne huffs and lets her spear disappear, looking a little embarrassed and almost...disappointed? Look, it's not like she wants Gilbert dead or anything, but she really needs someone to fight okay.]

Oh my god, don't scream like you're being murdered if you're not actually being murdered! I was seriously worried, you know! You'll give people the wrong idea!!

Wait, the dress is actually yours? [Giving Gilbert some serious side-eye now.] So...you have those kind of hobbies, huh....

[The most insulting part of this is probably how she doesn't sound surprised at all.]

[ Break more or less ignores Undyne as he holds Gilbert up, but it all clicks together with the continued explanation. Too much, actually. Break's expression flattens in disbelief, but it's the sort of weathered disbelief of having to deal with Gilbert being weird for ten years. ]

But then he's shifting to the appropriate amount of Offense because what the heck, Undyne. AND WHAT THE HECK, BREAK, don't doxx him like this!!]

Well...whatever! [She rubs her neck awkwardly and glances away for a moment.] And uh...sorry about kicking you in the face and all that, I guess. Put some ice on it, you'll be fine! You might actually look like a badass with a broken nose! [THIS IS AS GOOD AN APOLOGY AS HE WILL EVER GET FROM HER...]

Oz? You mean that master of yours back home? [Yeah her expression pretty much matches Break's at this point. This is super creepy.] Look, I can get the appeal of cosplay, but dressing up in someone else's clothes...especially that kind of outfit...that's pushing it a bit too far, Gilbert!

[ You shouldn't ask for it, Break wants to stay, but at least around Undyne he holds his tongue. Somewhat. Because there's teasing Gilbert and then there's making him look really, really weird, so he manages to reign it in somewhat. So he just gives Gilbert a pat on the shoulder that's definitely mockingly encouraging... ]

Ahh, Gilbert... Please don't cry over it too.

[ He knows Gilbert so well, but also like, too well. At least he didn't pass out yet. ]

[LOOK he's used to being beaten up at least, okay... A BROKEN NOSE IS NOTHING... Even if it'll definitely become Something when the numbness wears off and/or he realizes he'll have to set it by himself, rip.]

Ergh— It'll just bruise! [THAT DOESN'T LOOK BADASS, IT JUST LOOKS STUPID. Especially with the inevitable follow-up of "well, Undyne kicked me in the face".

Anyway, he's looking both baffled and offended now. What's a cosplay? Why do they both assume such rude things?? He's more miffed about this than he is about his broken nose...]
