seven vices week 7

24 players remaining

monday - thursday

Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by Katerina's calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a park and playground next to the clinic.

>Mingle?

This is Week 7's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday.

When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below.

More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly.

I thought I'd investigate this town further, and see if there was anything new to be learned. [ At... a jog, yes. ]
stupidly: (what a weird guy)

Ah... [That's probably not a bad idea, jogging aside!]

Do you mind if I come with you?
princessantly: (Friendship sure is gay-- I mean great)

[personal profile] princessantly 2016-03-29 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at all. Truthfully, I'd welcome the company.
stupidly: (UGH)

[A nod! Alisha's party has just gained +1 member.]

Which direction were you heading in first?
princessantly: (It takes skills to look this good)

[personal profile] princessantly 2016-03-29 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
The... play area? I'm unfamiliar with it, so I thought somewhere I hadn't yet searched thoroughly would be best.
stupidly: (unexpected)

Ah - I haven't looked there yet, either.

[TOGETHER, THEN. Onward to victory...]
princessantly: (Wait but how do two boys--)

[personal profile] princessantly 2016-03-31 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder how much remains... this is a much bigger town than I'd first imagined.
stupidly: (what a weird guy)

I wonder why so much of it was hidden from the start, too... Just another part of the "game"? Or is it for a different reason?

[SO MANY QUESTIONS, so few answers...]

I thought they might have been linked to a death and a trial... but considering that such a thing didn't happen last week, perhaps it's just what happens with the passage of time and investigation.
stupidly: (pensive)

I wonder if the town would continue to expand even if none of us investigated newer locations... Something like that would be impossible to really enforce, though.
princessantly: (Pardon me you were being shounen)

[personal profile] princessantly 2016-04-01 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be interested to see what the entire town looks like... if we can somehow rid ourselves of this game, I wonder if it'd be possible.
stupidly: (unexpected)

A town tour after the abyss has cleared up, you mean? ...I wouldn't mind something like that. The history of this place sounds interesting so far.

[He wants to know more about it, but tragically their investigations keep getting cut short by PEOPLE BEING MURDERERS.]
princessantly: (It takes skills to look this good)

[personal profile] princessantly 2016-04-01 01:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I find it rather fascinating myself. There's so much to be learned, after all.

[ IF ONLY PEOPLE WOULD STOP RUINING THEIR WEEKENDS BY KILLING OTHER PEOPLE AND MAKING THEM HAVE TO CHILL IN A CHAPEL. ]
stupidly: (100 HEADACHES A DAY)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-04-01 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Another week like this would be asking for too much, I'm sure.

[AND THEY CAN'T EVEN INVESTIGATE without worrying about running into body parts, why...]
