It's a strange, twisting feeling reverberating throughout all in the town, even able to be felt by those still asleep, warping their dreams. Everyone's sense of time is back to normal, and the large grandfather clock in the lobby is gone. [When Lithuania wakes up, she can think straight again. Which is great! ...Except for what it implies. But she's not about to stand around wondering when she can start looking around, so she decides to head for the less-frequented areas first, starting with the chapel. Anything of note in here?]

[ Roxy's still in her pillow fort, but was awake for at least a bit before she feels time resume. Did they do it? Did they manage to show the asshole in charge that they wouldn't murder anyone?

Oooor did someone get offed. Fuck, let's hope not. But she should probably get up and find out.

Untangling herself from her fort, she rushes into the second floor hall and just about throws herself down the stairs into the lobby. ]

[ You threw yourself into Astrid, a little, and the viking reaches out automatically to steady Roxy. ]

[Faize is already in the lobby when Roxy arrives, staring at the place where the clock USED to be.]

[HOWEVER THE CLOCK IS GONE? And there was no announcement or anything telling them to meet up somewhere...]

[HA HA oh Roxy... Gilbert's still pretty disoriented from that sudden jump in time, either way, so he more or less just stumbles out into the lobby confusedly.]

[Undyne comes sliding down the stair railing on her feet, somersaulting into the air once she reaches the end and doing a perfect ten point landing. For some reason, she looks...disappointed?]

[ Once things are back to normal... Sadie wants to get the hell out of dodge for whatever this means. So she's going to hang around the pool, because what murderer/victim is going to be at the pool at this time of day? ]

[Finally free of the time shifts, Buddy is going to get some goddamn coffee to shake the exhaustion she's been feeling. For that reason she heads to the kitchen to make some. She'll even make extra for anyone who wants some.]

( It actually isn't an unusual feeling for Urashima! that feeling of time going back to normal and the way it should be... it's a lot like returning to the citadel after a mission. It's a little confusing at first since this clearly isn't the citadel but it doesn't take him long to put one and two together. Throwing on his clothes, he goes down stares and heads straight down to the kitchen to see if anyone else has noticed. )

[Lithuania bursts through the doors with a loud bang. She ran here, and she's still in a hurry.] I've found a body. Kazunari Takao. He's behind the hotel, I can lead anyone who wants to check there.

[Okay so after the little lobby pow-wow, Faize (and anybody who might want to follow him) will just go check this room out for ditched evidence and/or more bodies. Anything look out of place?]

[ At first glance, no. But is he gonna take a look in the cabinets? ]

[ After Lithuania and her party reach the scene of the crime, all televisions in the hotel will turn on to static, waking up anyone still asleep. The calm, apathetic voice begins speaking: ]

A crime has been committed. Someone is now dead. Please rise, and investigate.

ROOM INVESTIGATION

[After getting Takao's room key off his body, Buddy, Kotetsu and Faize will head up together to investigate his room. Anything of immediate note they will instantly see?]

( It's never easy visiting the room of someone who isn't around anymore... That sort of task was always left to the more veteran spirits back home when someone was destroyed in battle.

That said, he doesn't really know how to start searching right now. )

Are we just... looking for anything?

( He'll check out the bathroom to see if anything is obviously out of order in there??? )

[Bill was definitely still asleep up until the body announcement. When you barely sleep normally, and then time is all screwy, you find yourself pretty exhausted a lot of a time. But murder? That's a good reason to rise and shine. How fun!

And the first place he goes after waking up some is that strange void at the edge of town. Because, really, if he were going to kill someone he'd use that. Doesn't happen to be anything on the ground on the West side is there? He's poking the end of his cane at the ground(?) just inside of the void too.]

[Okay, it looks like we're investigating? Investigation time. Clover's gotta make herself busy somehow. It doesn't look like anyone's been screwing around in the kitchen too much, so time to get prodding—if just glimpsing around the area after entering the kitchen doesn't reveal anything out of place, is there anything interesting in the pantry?]

[ Not in any of the cabinets, no, nor in the pantry. But keep looking. ]

[Cheshire still seems sleepy as he wanders down the stairs. He was glad the time went back to normal, he had been getting increasingly bored as the week went on, and cat naps just weren't doing it for him any more. He starts looking around the room for a hint of the clock or where it might have gone.]

[ since everyone's checking the body and rhys doesn't want to get all pukey again but also doesn't... want people to yell at him for doing nothing -- he will be checking the hotel! in particular, he will be checking for any unlocked doors. he'll be going through all the floors and trying the doorknobs, ignoring takao's room obviously, and in particular he will try the door to the manager's office.

are any of these knobs gonna work? also wow, he sure hopes no one just left their room unlocked. haha, freaks. ]
