Other than that. [Well, who knows if it was a reason that simple, but Lithuania gets the impression that's how these things work for Undyne.] If we know what they were thinking, it might be easier for us to find out who it was.

You think? [This is clearly the face of someone who has no idea how murder mysteries work.] How so?

Someone who planned this out carefully is different from someone who killed in the heat of the moment. This motive also must eliminate some people while pointing to others. If we can pin down things like that, we narrow the possibilities.

...that sounds waaaay too much like a puzzle to me. Anyway, why wouldn't the killer just lie about how the motive affected them?

They probably will. It is essentially a puzzle. We'll have to make inferences and gather clues. [Normally this would be a job for the police! ...But they're not here. Or, apparently, they don't like puzzles.]

Ugh, I HATE puzzles! [clenching a trembling fist!!] But I guess if it's for the sake of justice, then...then I just have to get really good at them really fast!
