week 1
 ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. Curiously, anyone who has spoken with Miata for any period of time during the past week will notice that the voice coming from the television and her own do not match up. Come Tuesday, the footsteps around the void will begin drifting away from it. The pitter-patter of feet can be heard when standing outside the clinic and chapel as well. On top of the food that was added to the kitchen last week, spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce is now available. You're welcome, Papyrus. >Mingle? [This may or may not be true, exactly, because she is bored out of her mind, but even with time slowed to a crawl, no people are still better than people, in Satori's opinion.]

[She might not have talked to him while he was actually looking for Kamekichi but she heard him asking around. Turtles are very important.]

My cat and my raven aren't here, either.
[It comes out in a rush. She hadn't intended to tell anyone about her pets, but it's hard not to commiserate in a situation like this.]
...For what it's worth, it's probably too cold here for a turtle anyway. It might be better for Kamekichi's health if it's still where you come from.
[It might not the most comforting thing to hear, but it's a genuine effort on her part, and the best she can come up with.]

Your...? ( A cat and a raven? Already, he's thinking if he's seen any around and all he can think of are Ranulf and Cheshire, both of which didn't appear too lost. ) I'm sorry.
( He really is sorry because he can understand. )
Everyone says it's better that Kamekichi isn't here and maybe they're right but... I've had Kamekichi for as long as I can remember so it's strange being separated.
( Thats enough about him, though! )

Okuu is a hell raven, and she isn't very bright, but she's motivated, and her enthusiasm is inspiring in a lot of ways. She's in charge of making sure the fire underneath my residence doesn't fizzle out.
[Her expression and her voice both soften a little while she talks about them. She can look at a clock, and recount how long it's been since she awoke here, and know she's only been gone for a week or so. But it already feels like it's been years.]

I guess you could say that. I don't feel particularly important, but it's true that Former Hell would be a much different place without me and my pets.
