Footsteps can also be heard echoing when one stands close to the void, even when alone....of course, no one will be there, either. As of Tuesday, extra food will be found in the kitchen. The ingredients are very based in Western cuisine: rye and wheat bread, potatoes, cabbage, beets, onions, cucumbers, assorted mushrooms, and the like are all supplied. In addition, there are also miscellaneous spices, eggs, milk, and an abundance of fish and pork. Various dishes made with the above ingredients will also be set out for anyone to take during lunch and dinner. A copy of the rulebook has been pinned to the front of the chapel, and a wooden sign now stands at the east edge of town near the clinic: Welcome to Lebensbaum | EST. 1623 | Population: ♜♜♜♜♜♜♜. [When it comes down to it, Hinata's just one teen with a notepad. There's no way he'll be able to collect information from everyone individually and try to put pieces together... he's pretty sure he's not the Super High School Level Detective or something useful like that. So instead, he spends most of the morning trying to get anyone he's spoken with to agree to meet him and whoever else wants to cooperate to escape this situation. Or maybe you just happen to be passing through the lobby and wondering what the heck could possibly be going on here!]

Hey. I think... we've all had enough time to walk around this place and form our own opinions. I was thinking... maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to share what we know, either from what we've learned here, or any experience you might have had at home that might be useful.

[Hinata's not a public speaker, and he actually seems a little nervous to address a group of people, assuming that there's more than two or three.]

No matter what, we can't let these motives, uh, motivate us. Even if Miata and anyone she's working with promise something... there's no guarantee when or how they'll deliver. We still don't know why we have to do this, or why it's so important for there to be "seven." More than anything, I think the more information we can find and share, the better our chance is going to be to get out of here. And the more we all know... the better our chance will be of stopping a murder before it happens. Or figuring out who the culprit is, if it comes to that.

So, I guess... anything you remember from before you arrived here is going to be helpful, too. Maybe there's a common theme as to why we were unlucky enough to be picked. Or even anything you might have noticed, even if it's really small. If we work together and do our best... it'll be a start.

It's not a bad idea to try and persuade everyone to work together. But that doesn't mean I think it'll work. We don't know what kind of incentives Miata's people are offering, it's possible whatever they have to say will be too tempting for some of us to resist.

Could the reason not be for chaos's sake alone? 'Twould be smart, to keep us gazing at our navels, pondering the reason behind this absurdist game, to pick apart the arbitrarily shared motifs of our lives, as opposed to working towards a goal in common.

I suggest you focus on keeping yourself alive and nourished as time stands. Regardless of how we may feel individually, as time passes and tensions rise, someone's dagger will slip into someone's heart. Mere thought will not serve you well in a situation such as this.

Before I was here, I was fighting in a war against the Order of the One True Way...but I don't suppose any of you have heard of them, since I haven't met anyone familiar with alternate worlds yet.

Before arriving here, my companions and I had landed on a planet called Roak in order to perform maintenance on our ship. We had just saved a local girl and were about to go find a means of traveling to a structure called the "Purgatorium" in order to investigate a claim she'd made about our captain and first mate. As we were leaving the town, I felt a sickening dizziness, as others have mentioned, and woke up here.

[He wasn't even in the middle of anything important, wow.]

As for things I have noticed here...I have already mentioned this to Hinata, but I believe the void surrounding this town may have something to do with how we were brought here. It appears to be a wormhole, though something of an odd one as it seems to only distort time as opposed to spacetime as a whole. That, and it's obviously being used for containment as opposed to travel.

[He frowns slightly.]

At least, that was my initial theory. I have noticed certain oddities the past few days that lead me question this assumption. Has anyone else heard footsteps if they linger too long on the edge of the void, despite the fact that nobody else is there? Or felt as though they were being watched?

That aside, if the "sin" stuff is true then maybe that's why we're here? We've all been "sinful" in some way and we're now being punished. The designation shows the "sin" that we're being punished for.
