week 0 - continuation

seven vices week 0

tuesday - sunday

With that revelation, things are sure to be more tense--or maybe, you prefer to go the hope route? Either way, the atmosphere of the town begins changing ever so subtly. Once in a while, you can feel someone staring at you from behind, though when you turn to check, no one will be there. Footsteps can also be heard echoing when one stands close to the void, even when alone....of course, no one will be there, either.

As of Tuesday, extra food will be found in the kitchen. The ingredients are very based in Western cuisine: rye and wheat bread, potatoes, cabbage, beets, onions, cucumbers, assorted mushrooms, and the like are all supplied. In addition, there are also miscellaneous spices, eggs, milk, and an abundance of fish and pork. Various dishes made with the above ingredients will also be set out for anyone to take during lunch and dinner.

A copy of the rulebook has been pinned to the front of the chapel, and a wooden sign now stands at the east edge of town near the clinic: Welcome to Lebensbaum | EST. 1623 | Population: ♜♜♜♜♜♜♜. The bonfire will be lit every night from 10PM to 6AM, after which it will extinguish on its own.

>Mingle?

[At first Takao moves his lips to object that not everyone would kill - but you know what, yeah, coming from her this makes sense. Even he could theoretically throw Inaba down the stairs about as easily as he hauled her up them.]

So if we're getting punished for our sins... How come some people will get to survive? You'd think they could force us to kill until nobody is left, if we were just going through the "game" to get hurt.

Do we know some people will get to survive? All we have to go on is the word of a person who seems to be the authority around here. For all we know the seven people remaining will be killed as well.

Well, you're right, trusting her that the seven people are totally safe would be sort of stupid. It seems sort of random to throw it in, though, and they clearly thought through this game for a long time to set up clothes that fit us and enough food and everything.

I mean, it fits with the seven sins and all, but then why say twenty-nine people die instead of, I don't know, a number times seven?

...Beats me. [He lost her at "number times seven" because she only learned the most basic of math.] I don't think she has any purpose other than to be a mouthpiece, but I'm not trusting her word.

That's pretty fair. Hmm, maybe the survivors will just be roped into working for them too? Argh, we really don't know what any of these assholes want. It really could just be slow slaughtering fun for the whole family.
