week 0 - continuation

seven vices week 0

tuesday - sunday

With that revelation, things are sure to be more tense--or maybe, you prefer to go the hope route? Either way, the atmosphere of the town begins changing ever so subtly. Once in a while, you can feel someone staring at you from behind, though when you turn to check, no one will be there. Footsteps can also be heard echoing when one stands close to the void, even when alone....of course, no one will be there, either.

As of Tuesday, extra food will be found in the kitchen. The ingredients are very based in Western cuisine: rye and wheat bread, potatoes, cabbage, beets, onions, cucumbers, assorted mushrooms, and the like are all supplied. In addition, there are also miscellaneous spices, eggs, milk, and an abundance of fish and pork. Various dishes made with the above ingredients will also be set out for anyone to take during lunch and dinner.

A copy of the rulebook has been pinned to the front of the chapel, and a wooden sign now stands at the east edge of town near the clinic: Welcome to Lebensbaum | EST. 1623 | Population: ♜♜♜♜♜♜♜. The bonfire will be lit every night from 10PM to 6AM, after which it will extinguish on its own.

>Mingle?

hopefragment: definitely not thinking about boobs (thinking carefully*)

No, that's wrong. I don't think that's true of "most" people at all. I mean... yeah, there's people out there who kill for fun, but in this kind of situation?

[He shakes his head, bringing a hand to his chin in thought.]

What's the point of going along with their "game?"
keepshispride: (Sassy bitch.)

[personal profile] keepshispride 2016-02-11 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Not necessarily for fun [though that too, thanks for bringing it up] but out of self-preservation or fear. This many people trapped in one place? [Smirks.] It's a bloodbath waiting to happen.

But cowards who make others do their killing for them are rarely the type to keep their word. So if anyone does go along with the "game", they're an idiot.
hopefragment: and then one "it's not unusual" (put in seven "what's new pussycats"*)

[personal profile] hopefragment 2016-02-11 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
If you're saying it's self-preservation or fear, then... you're saying that people might believe what they're saying about retirement? That if you kill someone and get away with it, you'll be safe?

[He just shakes his head again.]

I can't buy that. If we're being forced to participate in this game, I can't trust them to keep their word. I think if everyone keeps that in mind...
keepshispride: (I'm not here for you!!!)

[personal profile] keepshispride 2016-02-11 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
That or they'll panic when someone says the wrong thing to them in a dark corner. [Vegeta, you need to meet more normal people.]

From what I understand, humans aren't the best at staying calm and rational when under stress. [And saiyans are???] Hoping no one will die is probably too optimistic.

hopefragment: after 7 what's new pussycats (and that is when the afternoon went from)

[personal profile] hopefragment 2016-02-12 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe everyone should just avoid dark corners, then.

[Don't be a sarcastic little shit, Hinata. He presses his lips together and sighs quietly through his nose, unable to really refute that point.]

I know it's optimistic, and... honestly, I kind of doubt it. But I'd rather try than just sit back and decide it's inevitable.
keepshispride: (Do your buttons up!)

[personal profile] keepshispride 2016-02-12 02:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe you'd best. [Vegeta, stop making veiled threats at people. The obvious ones are bad enough.]

And sitting back and deciding it's not is any better? Or do you think if we all sit in a circle and talk about our feelings we'll get along suddenly? We'll be best friends? [The master of being a sarcastic little shit.]
hopefragment: ((unsure))

[personal profile] hopefragment 2016-02-12 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[He's not scared of you?? He should be, but he's not. It's the kind of overwhelming power that he can't really comprehend, so it's best to try not to think about it.]

You know that's not what I mean. I don't think it'll be that easy at all. But I have to try something, and this is all I can think of.

If you've got a suggestion to get out of here without what, twenty-nine? people getting killed, I'm all ears.

keepshispride: (Grumble tch.)

[personal profile] keepshispride 2016-02-15 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
[Don't worry, Hinata, Vegeta only wants to attack people who can give him a challenge. You're safe.]

How about killing thirty-five. [<-- grumbling to himself. Vegeta, no.

More clearly:]
I'm not your enemy. Neither are they. We know who are enemy is- that woman and whoever she's working for. We should be focusing our efforts on attacking them.
hopefragment: *presents panties* (i'll prove it with this!*)

[personal profile] hopefragment 2016-02-15 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I agree. As long as she has that protective barrier, and whoever she's working for is... behind that void, probably, I'm not sure what we can do. Other than make sure a killing doesn't happen.
