week 6
![]() 24 players remaining ♫ monday - sunday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After that...announcement, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a record store next to the clothing store. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Cheshire and Lucyhave been hung up. Anyone looking for it will find that Lucy's machete is now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 6's mingle log, covering Monday to Sunday. As this is a breather week, there will be no investigation or trial. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

[ Dhaos is not helping anyone look for dismembered parts. If someone wants a corpse part that's on them, although he doesn't mind investigating here. He will be looking through the categories for the records, only to shamelessly open a container. He's holding it and observing the item with curiosity. Should anyone enter, he will turn his attention upon them. ]
...How is this supposed to work, exactly? Explain.
Wednesday, schoolhouse, 5pm
[ As usual, he can be found in here doing piano lessons, or just plain on playing the piano. As someone walks in... ]
Good evening. Did you plan on participating in that madness that woman set up?
Wildcard
[ lmk if you want to plan out something (luminitrium on plurk) or if you wish to do something random, feel free. ]
Wednesday
[GOOD CHOICE IN FRIENDS, DHAOS]

...Do I want to know what condition they were when you did?
[ Is he that masochistic. ]
That said, I cannot be surprised they came up with something like this. Although, I doubt I could call this... 'fun'.

[She sounds so proud. This is terrible.]
no subject
[ Satori why. Well, at least they were already dead, but still. Dhaos doesn't know if he's ever met someone who does this sort of thing (obviously he hasn't). ]
no subject
[This is almost, almost a good reason to steal dead bodies.]
Orin has the ability to speak to corpses, too, so it's more interesting for her if that's what she carries.

[ HE TOSSES IT.
In doing so, he stumbles back and accidentally elbows a shelf, knocking stuff over, and likely breaking a few things. ]
Blasted, accursed hu--hng...
[ Hopefully no one saw that. He's so done. ]
no subject
I saw it.
Definitely saw it.]
...
[Poland's just shoving the vinyl record she was going to open back on the shelf then as she watches that kidney FLY.]

......Good evening.

Watching it slide down to the wall... and.
There is it. It's new home. The floor.]

Monday
I don't know. [ He tilts his head, looking at the record curiously.] Is it one of those things you throw? [ He's probably seen a Frisbee once or twice, but he's more than likely thinking it's an incredibly ineffective shuriken.]
no subject
[ It's just them in here so he aims at the wall to test it's durability. He made sure to hold back too, but. It breaks. ]
I...suppose not?
no subject
It's too fragile, it would need to be enhanced. [ A beat.] Are they all the same?
no subject
[ Dhaos swears they are not menances, he is just curious after he watches Yoite throwing another. Then he moves to grab another, and toss.
Predictably it shatters. ]
Hm, three so far. Yet they are all divided into different categories. Surely, they can't all be the same.

wednesday
[he sounds equally dissatisfied with both options, because you just know making any kind of effort is just as bad as severed body parts. apparently.]
no subject
Well, at least Sans is the first person he's asked thus far who wouldn't, even though he's a skeleton (still a person!). ]
Good; it is already ridiculous enough the incentive to complete this is a 'meal'. Not to mention that human must be enjoying seeing others take part in this.
no subject
[there's no accusation there, just plain curiosity.]

Miata is a human. [ And Lithuania is unfortunately protective of humans, it appears. Or those like her. He doesn't understand it. ] They come from the same place, as they speak the same foreign words. Hence, Katerina is also a human.
[ This is the easiest explanation he can come up with. ]

wednesday!
[But with Gilbert's luck, it's been happening anyway... Truly excellent. He sighs, rubbing at the side of his head and then leaning against the doorframe.]
They're... really all over the place, aren't they?
no subject
It is utterly ridiculous. You cannot even avoid such nonsense by placing yourself in your room.
... I am guessing you have found quite an amount on your part?
no subject
Not as much as some- [RIP POLAND AND LITHUANIA] -but more than I'd have ever wanted. It's not much like a "hunt" at all. I think they're just trying to wage some sort of bizarre psychological warfare.
no subject
Yes... this is not a proper 'hunt' or 'search' if they just leave it out in the open where people would be passing through easily anyway. Since they are watching us and no one is dying this week, I also surmise they need to get their entertainment somehow from our reactions.
[ He is not very happy about freaking out about a kidney. ]
