seven vices week 4 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Tuesday, lobby, 9AM-11AM

[Hinata's taken a seat in the lobby across from the monitor, just watching the various silent images go by. He's not taking notes or... doing much of anything, really. He's honestly just sitting there watching the monitor continue to loop, as if trying to absorb as much of it as he can. Or, at times, it doesn't seem as if he's even looking at it at all, instead looking past it toward something only he can see.]

Wednesday, various daytime, schoolhouse

[Maybe surprisingly, Hinata can be found in the schoolhouse, sitting alone in one of the desks again, though his ID is nowhere in sight. Instead, he has a little origami crane in both hands whose wings he's just folding and unfolding, seemingly lost in thought. There's quite a few of those cranes scattered about the classroom. A much better sight than blood and guts, but even still, that seems to be where Hinata's gaze keeps focusing. Rather than sit in the multipurpose room with the children's toys, he's apparently decided to sit in the classroom looking awfully solemn. Snap out of it, kid!]

Thursday, 7AM-12PM, kitchen

[Hinata can be found sitting at the table with a cup of tea and his notepad, gently drumming his pen against it.]

Um... hey. [Good morning. Were you hoping to have breakfast in peace? Too bad.] It's Thursday, and if tonight follows a pattern like the last three weeks, I don't... think it's a bad idea for people to pair up. Don't you think?

[Ah good, he's back on the buddy system.]

[Wow, Hinata, you're up early! Faize offers a good morning and sets about making himself a cup of coffee while putting some french toast on a plate. Mind if he joins you Hinata? Apparently not because you have a question to ask him like the moment he sits down andtries to take a sip of coffee.]

I would not be opposed to implementing such a system. All of our rooms have two beds, after all. It isn't as though it would be much of an inconvenience.

[He is up very early! He still looks a little tired, honestly, even with his cup of tea in front of him. But he brightens at Faize's agreement, nodding once and making a little mark next to Faize's profile.]

It really wouldn't be. I mean... if girls didn't want to room with boys and vice versa, I think that should still be okay. And the rules don't say anything about pushing beds from other rooms into someone else's, so you could probably squeeze three beds into a room, easily.

[Who wouldn't want a co-ed sleepover though...]

Y-yeah, sure. Roomfriend system makes sense. Girls and boys can room separately if they want, and it... if it could help prevent a murder, I think it's the least any of us can do.

It's a good idea! You can't sneak out to murder if someone's keeping an eye on you, plus there are people here who can't fight as well and could use extra protection at night. And if you disagree, then you're probably a murdering murderer who wants to murder and it'll be all your fault when you shoot up to the top of the list of suspects because you don't have anyone backing your alibi!

Though what would be more helpful is if PEOPLE WOULD STOP LEAVING THEIR ROOMS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKING NIGHT. [Ranulf.]

I... don't know that I'd go that far, [about being a murdering murderer who murders,] But yeah, that's what I mean. If it comes down to alibis, I'd rather have someone to vouch for where I was than, I don't know, try lying about it to seem less suspicious, or having no one to account for me at all.

I don't think so either. And... I know some people have talked about how having just one person might be dangerous, if they're paired with a killer, but why not two people...? I mean, if it's too many, it'd just get unwieldy, but two or three people watching out for each other? Makes sense to me.

[ One of Break's main hangouts is the kitchen, so it's definitely not hard to find him... It's the best place for him to mooch food, after all. He's a fattydingdongs. Break is surprised that he's spoken to, though, and he looks up from his tea with mild surprise. ]

Why, no, I don't think it's a bad idea at all... I've been more or less unofficially doing so anyways~.

[ Roxy actually does plan to take notes, and has her notebook and a pen in hand when she walks into the lobby. Seeing Hinata, she just tosses down her items nearby and plops down next to him. She stares at the monitor for a moment. When one of her lame moments flashes by she decides That's Enough for the moment. ]

Man, they could've bothered to give us somethin' less shitty to watch than this. Did it really need an endless loop? At least fit some funny cat videos in there, sheesh.
