week 4
![]() 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

Twenty-eight or twenty-nine. Usually it's twenty-eight, but every four years is a leap year where there are twenty-nine. Century years are skipped unless you can divide them by four hundred. [She wouldn't typically include that last rule, but Urashima might conceivably need to know that, given he can measure his age in centuries.]

What a simple answer, though! For all intent and purposes, he'll go with twenty-eight just because an eager and impatient child and begin counting on his fingers. Five, six, seven.... eighteen, nineteen, twe--... wait? What was that? Century years are skipped? Unless you can divide them by what? Wait? Ah, he looks up from his hands, brows knit tightly in confusion and just... completely and totally lost. )
So... twenty-eight?

( He says simply and proudly like a child who's learned something new in school. But hmm... he looks down at his paper at the tick marks and the tally marks and the numbers crossed out and circled multiple times. )
... It's been a month.

Your birthday?!
( He looks up at that, like its the most important thing out of all the things she's said. )

Happy birthday! ( Even though it's already passed... ) I didn't get to wish it before so I'm going to do it now! Happy birthday, Miss Lituania!

Heh heh~!
You should do something to celebrate. Ah... maybe you can have a cake? I know it seems weird to celebrate in a place like this... but it's important to find happiness when times are hard, I think.

Miss Poland is really nice too. I'm glad she isn't angry at me anymore. ( He really was worried about for awhile. ) I want to do something for you too.
