seven vices week 4 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. [from around noon until six pm, in front of different buildings depending on the day (monday: general store, tuesday: hotel, wednesday: chapel, thursday: police station) sans is standing behind what looks, from afar, to be a cardboard box with a sign planted on it. if you come any closer, it still looks exactly like that. the sign says ""HOT DOGS" FOR SALE" in comic sans. in smaller print, it says "price negotiable". there is no sign of any hot dog or "hot dog" on the box, though the appropriate condiments are there.

from 3 to 4, the sign says OUT FOR A BREAK. sans is just napping behind the box. in the snow.

from 6 to 7, the sign says "THE PSYCHIATRIST IS IN" for some reason...? a closer look will reveal that "psy" has been scratched out and replaced with the word dog written in a scrawl on top. sans is nowhere to be found, but there is a small dog sitting where he should be.]

You know what. Screw it. She'll crouch down to attempt to pet it. It's such a cute dog, after all. ]

[Satori has been so deprived of animal contact she will pet this dog for the rest of her stay in Lebensbaum if she has the opportunity. Don't worry, dog, the pets are not stopping any time soon.]

Hey there, little barkbeast. Are you here to listen to peoples problems and prescribe medication to treat their symptoms?

[ Pets the dog! She may be a cat lady but she can appreciate a barkbeast when she sees one. ]

[the dogchiatrist barks. one bark means yes. please tell the dog your problems.

petting the dog is also acceptable. the dog inches closer for more pets.]

What a good dog. I bet you've had a rough time, meetin' all these weird new people then them murderin' each other.

[pets!!! the dog's tail is wagging incessantly. he loves pets.

he also barks once roxy is finished talking. could it be an agreement? it might also be a disagreement. it's hard to tell because it is just a dog barking. still, now that roxy is close enough for pets, she might notice a pen and paper laid out. it seems set up so the dogchiatrist could take notes.

dogs cannot write, however. this is truly a tragedy.]

he attempts to rolls away and only gets half his body covered in glitter for his try.a far cry from a dude who usually dodges a knife. sans is blue now. that's undyne's new attack. he looks like she just gave him a heart attack.]

[Okay, well he was gonna go to the general store for some snacks, but...that sure is a dog sitting just outside it behind a box. Ugh, dogs...far from his favorite animal.]

[But this one is at least small, which is enough for Faize to take a few wary steps closer and peer behind the cardboard box. Is there a person back there? Is there a person anywhere nearby or is this just more bizarre murder town happenings? Finding no one, he moves back around to the front of the box and turns his attention to the sign instead.]

Dog...chiatrist?

[Skeptical squint. He's like 99.9% sure that's not actually a thing.]

[the dog barks a greeting to faize and then crosses his paws over the box. he seems to be waiting patiently for something.

[Faize looks around again, half expecting to see somebody approaching. But no, apparently the dog is barking and crossing his paws at him.]
