week 11
![]() ♫ monday - friday 8 players remaining Upon waking on Monday morning, you experience a short but awful bout of nausea. It's not dissimilar to the same fate one suffers when trying to remove their talisman, but an inspection will reveal that they're still on your person, safe and sound. Accompanying this will be disturbing visions--one look, and suddenly the space around you is nothing but destruction and carnage. Destroyed buildings, the heavy scent of smoke, and scattered bloodstains--even a few screams. But with a blink, the vision fades, and everything is as it should be. The possessions of last week's deceased have vanished, save for Stormfly and the Annoying Dog (the zoo grows stronger!). Anyone investigating will notice that to the far east of the schoolhouse, a library has appeared. Additionally, every locked door in the town will have unlocked at the start of this week. >Investigate? setting |
Announcement
Instead of her usual bored stoicism, she sounds furious. ]
Congratulations on making it to the final stretch, I suppose. This will be your final week before this ceremony completes.
Normally, I would be inclined to celebrate, but a certain someone decided that just wouldn't do. There's eight of you left, as you can well see, and seven are needed to conclude this! Fancy that! Other arrangements were made for the eighth's demise, but as Mister Xerxes' body gave out on its own, someone must take his place.
Decide who will be the last to die. Your deadline is Saturday, and a vote must be made by then. The chapel is open for your voting pleasure.
[ The monitor clicks off at that, leaving the town in silence once more. ]

Investigation (library)
[ To the far east of the schoolhouse is the library. It's in exceedingly poor shape, with a partially collapsed roof and covered in a thick layer of dust. The electricity in this building also doesn't seem to work, so anyone venturing in will need to take flashlights with them.
As for the books themselves, many of them are burnt beyond recognition--though many are still perfectly readable.
Three main investigative paths can be taken, here:
-->Fiction section
-->Nonfiction section
-->Helper desk/current events section ]

[ After putting up that note, Dhaos can be found in the lobby with a few pieces of paper. They're notes he's already preparing. Obviously it's incomplete, considering. ]
Can I help you with anything?
[ No, really. He means it. ]
Residential district, afternoon, Thursday, with Poland and Yoite
[ In addition to everything else, Dhaos wishes to take care of something else as well. Everyone else is investigating the other places and he trusts them to do a good job, so naturally it is also time to make sure all loose ends are tied up.
He's going with two others, though. The three of them are looking for the mayor's house. ]
...Hopefully by the end of this week with all the information everyone has gathered will prove to be very useful.
Hotel Kitchen(Meeting), 1 PM Friday
[ When everyone is done investigating or mostly doing so, Dhaos does hope for them to stop on by. He has prepared several chairs, moving the others out to make more room, and placed whatever snacks that do not need cooking in the middle of the table just because.
He doesn't know why he bothers with the little things, but it is what it is.
He's passed around an updated version of his notes, based on what he's discovered this week and earlier, probably so he doesn't have to repeat himself. He also plans on revising them/fixing based upon what people speak about in this discussion, however. ]
It is good to see all of you have arrived. I believe one of the first matters to discuss would be about what we discovered during this week.
Another task would be is to form a type of plan to approach tomorrow's events. In addition to that, discussing our general main goals, which are of course defeating our enemy, saving 'everyone', and being able to find an exit from here to return safely to our homes.
Thursday off to see the mayor~

After Basement Adventures with Buddy
She runs to Roxy. She doesn't look like she's slowing down at all even as Roxy gets closer and closer to her. She's actually running at Roxy.]
TRAITOR!
[Poland's running at Roxy, screaming traitor at the top of her lungs and-- well now she is actually leaping through the air once she's in range of Roxy to tackle Roxy.]
