seven vices week 11 ♫ monday - friday 8 players remaining Upon waking on Monday morning, you experience a short but awful bout of nausea. It's not dissimilar to the same fate one suffers when trying to remove their talisman, but an inspection will reveal that they're still on your person, safe and sound. Accompanying this will be disturbing visions--one look, and suddenly the space around you is nothing but destruction and carnage. Destroyed buildings, the heavy scent of smoke, and scattered bloodstains--even a few screams. But with a blink, the vision fades, and everything is as it should be. The possessions of last week's deceased have vanished, save for Stormfly and the Annoying Dog (the zoo grows stronger!). Anyone investigating will notice that to the far east of the schoolhouse, a library has appeared. Additionally, every locked door in the town will have unlocked at the start of this week. >Investigate? cast setting

[You know who's been a constant fixture at Roxy's side for the past several weeks? And right now is no exception to this rule? It's the ahoge protag, probably doing something stupid like holding her hand and smiling. Because that's what he does??

A running Poland isn't that alarming, honestly. It's Poland, and he trusts his Mamo. ...At least until she's screaming, and oh god there's Buddy too, he doesn't know what's going on but he's going to immediately let go of Roxy's hand to move in at the last second, trying to catch Poland, or redirect her, or just get tackled in Roxy's place which is totally possible.]

P-Poland, what the hell?!

[ Seeing Poland coming, at first Roxy doesn't think much of it and starts to smile. She's just chilling here, innocently, with her boyfriend and isn't expecting a tiny Poland hurricane on her shores. ]

Oh, hey Pols--

[ Whoa what what what is Poland doing WHY IS SHE COMING AT THEM LIKE THAT. The word traitor doesn't even register with her for a moment until Hinata is catching/getting tackled by the hurricane. ]

... This is 'cause I ate the last muffin, isn't it.

[ Yoite has no idea what's really going on but he heard screaming, so he's here. For the moment he's just watching what's transpiring between Poland and the rest, though he's ready to move if he needs to.]

[Poland probably would have at least tried to skid to a stop or something if she weren't already airborne by the time Hinata jumped in front of her.

So. She barrels into him at full force, probably knocking the wind right out of him and definitely taking him right off his feet.]

Hinata--!! She's been lying to us this whole time!

[Poland's arm wildly flails out, clawing for Roxy's leg.]

[She's not in pain but she sure is screaming Yoite.]

[There he go. See you later, space ahoge. All he can do is cough for a second, just trying to grab Poland's arms and wrap his legs around her to restrain her as much as possible. He is tall, if... nothing else. There's literally nothing else, but he's not trying to hurt her, just hold her back.]

[ Oh, fuck. This isn't about the muffin.

Moves out of clawing range. She's (mostly?) certain that Poland wouldn't hurt Hinata to get at her. ]

Ok, back it up a bit Pols. Maybe use your words instead of. Trying to apparently beat me up, that seems kinda harsh.

[He's not! He's absolutely not getting off her, considering she's the one who tackled him and is probably pinning him to the ground, as you do. All he's doing is trying to hold her still as much as she can, and-- yep, ignoring Yoite completely, because letting go is just Not A Thing He's Doing when it seems like she still might go after Roxy.]

Fighting isn't going to help anything!! You can't just-- attack someone without knowing the reason! Trust me, whatever you think you know, it's not true!!

[ that said roxy won't blame hinata if he released the kraken on her now ]

[He's not releasing the kraken! He won't let go of Poland completely until he's sure she won't hurt the younger girl, but... he doesn't look angry at Roxy. Upset, sure, but that's more because of Poland. Incredibly concerned, too, considering Buddy is threatening to shoot people, but not once does he look angry.]

I know you have a good explanation, Roxy. I won't let anything happen to you.

[ Good boyfriend, best guy. ]

Well, I like to think it's a good explanation, anyway. Or at least several pieces of a good explanation, maybe mathematically adding up to one fairly decent explanation. [ the leviathan thing sure was a Thing ]

... But don't get hurt on account of my bullshit.

No one's going to hurt anyone right now.

[He's... got no way of stopping it if someone does decide to go apeshit (Buddy), but for now...? He's going to let Poland have her tantrum on the ground and push himself to his feet to join Roxy, tentatively reaching for her hand, if she still wants to take it.]

[ He still really doesn't know what's going on, but that doesn't really matter.]

Let go of her. [ Moving forward, but thankfully he really can't aim Kira properly with Poland in the way. Still, he's not actually terrible at plain brawling...]

I am sure he will not harm her. Hinata and her appear to be good friends.

[ He eyes Roxy warily, however. ]

An explanation should be coming soon. If they don't want this to continue as it is.

[Poland is still fighting against Hinata's grip-- but she looks like she simmered down a little.]

[He honestly sounds hurt and more than a little wary still, because wow... doesn't Poland trust him to be able to act for himself?

He loosens his grip, but doesn't let go completely, just looking up toward Roxy.]

There's been enough violence, hurting Roxy isn't... isn't going to change anything. Please don't, I-I think I already know what you're angry about, a-and it's not what you think.

[Hinata she can't deal with this right now, she's incredibly hurt herself. Because apparently she couldn't trust the person who she was supposed to trust more than anyone here and-- Poland screams again kicking her feet in the snow just thinking about it.]

[ He doesn't know why, but he elects to speak her name. If for a moment to distract her from her rage--or have her look this way. ]

I know there is not much that can be offered that can remedy this. However, later on or even now if you wish to speak to someone about this to let off at least some of the stress of it all, I would not mind lending an ear.

[ Because he doesn't know the right words, but he figures to offer at least. She had been kind enough to him. He'll understand if she would rather not, however. ]

[It's absolutely impossible to tell but Poland does appreciate this offer though.

[ Naturally, he has nothing to say. He'll just leave Poland to her anger for now. ]

[ He's been silent for a while, at a loss of for what to do. Though he feels close enough to her to fight for her, ultimately he really doesn't know Poland that well.

The most he can manage then is a few words, for whatever help they'll provide.]
