week 1
![]() ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. Curiously, anyone who has spoken with Miata for any period of time during the past week will notice that the voice coming from the television and her own do not match up. Come Tuesday, the footsteps around the void will begin drifting away from it. The pitter-patter of feet can be heard when standing outside the clinic and chapel as well. On top of the food that was added to the kitchen last week, spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce is now available. You're welcome, Papyrus. >Mingle? afternoon, wednesday
Time to find something interesting to occupy his attention! And a guy practicing swordplay outside is definitely more interesting that watching the second hand of a clock move with incredible slowness.
He's just going to try to wander a little closer to watch. Please no sudden moves in his direction, he'll scream.]

[Using the force of one of his high kicks, he pivots 180 degrees and moves almost seamlessly into a forward thrusting jab with his sword. Fortunately, he's probably not close enough for there to be any real concern, but the tip of his blade is pointing directly at Hajime all the same.]
Ah, Hinata! [MY, WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE THIS IS.]
no subject
S-sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt!
[Please don't stab me.]

It's alright. [Faize lowers his sword to his side.] I would have preferred to practice in my room, so as to avoid this type of eventually but...I'd rather not test the rule about damaging walls...
[Not when punishments around here seem to be DEATH DEATH DEATH.]
I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings though. I shudder to think what may have happened if you were not immune and I had waited a few moments longer before turning.
[Haj-kabob.]

Ha, yeah... I don't know how strict they are about their rules, but I think you're right not to be the one to test them out. Even with immunity, I don't want to find out what would happen if I messed around with it.
[Maybe he can talk to Poland and get to goad Vegeta into trying it, though? Something to consider.]
I'm surprised you use a sword, though. I'd have thought you'd have like... laser guns or something.
[Does the sword shoot lasers.]

[Respect the hotel, let's not be deviants.]
[The comment about laser guns seems to amuse him.]
Some of my brethren do use firearms, and I suppose one could call them "laser guns" [What crude terminology though, goodness.] However, we receive training based on our latent abilities, as opposed to personal preference. I'll spare you the details on how exactly that's determined, [MOSTLY BECAUSE CANON NEVER SAYS ANYTHING BEYOND IMPLYING IT'S A VERY LONG STORY? It would be perfect for whiling away the time, but, alas...] but I showed an aptitude for the sword. And so that is what I use in battle.
[Though why it isn't a laser sword or something is another matter entirely. Because, no, it really is just a plain old sword. With a weird blue blade, but that's apparently just aesthetic.]
