week 1
![]() ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. Curiously, anyone who has spoken with Miata for any period of time during the past week will notice that the voice coming from the television and her own do not match up. Come Tuesday, the footsteps around the void will begin drifting away from it. The pitter-patter of feet can be heard when standing outside the clinic and chapel as well. On top of the food that was added to the kitchen last week, spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce is now available. You're welcome, Papyrus. >Mingle? This is Week 1's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. [She shakes her head. Her world is weird, okay? But that's because people keep fusing other worlds to it, it's not their fault.]
There's powerful universal magic at play here. Mama's sure of it!

[At least they don't have that situation. At least their days will be somewhat different? But there was little enough to do over the last few days that the idea of feeling like time is moving even more slowly is... concerning.]
How did they get through it?
no subject
[And she's so proud of Sieg! Her voice makes that very clear. She's warm and proud, just like a mother should be.]
He recognized something was wrong and he refused to accept it. I think inner strength is going to be really important here, okay? So don't give up.

[Is he humoring her? Mostly, but it's kind of sweet to know that someone cares about her kid that much. But... this woman doesn't look all that much older than he does, and if he remembers her profile right...]
How old is he?
no subject
[And Sisuca is twenty-two. Her son leads an army! She's so proud to have raised him since he was a little baby.]
no subject
You're... twenty-two, right?
no subject
[She can't see where he's going with this.]
If you wanted to know more about me, you can just ask, you know. I don't mind sharing.
no subject
[That would make sense. A little weird still, but he'd believe it.]
Or are you going to say it's another weird... time thing.
no subject
[It's a little more complicated than that. She was eight when it happened, but she was already in older sister mode at the time.]
But he's still my little boy, wouldn't you say?
no subject
Ah, yeah... it sounds like he's really lucky to have someone like you, then. And like you said... it's going to be about inner strength, right? So you'll definitely be fine.
no subject
[She looks so devastated by this revelation she's sharing. It's her life goal to hear her little boy say that. ...What if she dies before she gets the chance? No, no, of course she won't let that happen.]
Well, when you put it like that, I'm not worried about me...but, oh, you just let me know if you need anything, okay?
[Congratulations, Hinata. Sisuca is going to attempt a hug now to comfort him, because he's obviously in need of a little motherly love.]
no subject
[He's somewhere around sixteen or seventeen himself, and he couldn't imagine calling someone only a few years older than him "mom."
But he gives her a smile anyway and a nod.]
Yeah, the same goes for you. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do that you can't take care of yourself, but...?!
[O-oh, okay. Hug time. Hello. He just kind of awkwardly pats her back, because he's a good five inches taller than she is.]
no subject
[But height doesn't matter when motherly love is involved. Her hug is fierce, at least super high school level hugs right there, but she'll let go after a moment.]
Oh, I'd just love a little company every now and then, maybe! I'll even cook for you and do your laundry if you'd like!
no subject
[It was a nice hug though!! Honestly, he can't even remember the last time he got a hug like this, so he's a little disappointed when she pulls away.
Definitely a big sister type...]
H-hang on, you don't have to do that! Wouldn't it be fine if we just hung out?
no subject
[This would be awkward if his mother was dead, huh. She's just going to assume that she isn't for now.]
I really wouldn't mind! If it can help someone relax even a little, that's what I'll do. Just leave it to me~!
no subject
Ha, yeah, I will. And... thanks, Sisuca. I really appreciate it.
no subject
[That doesn't sound questionable at all.]
I only hope we can all get along like this in the future.
