[ He didn't realize how tense he was until Urashima does so, starting a bit at that, and then he turns his attention to the other. He wants to give his gratitude to him in words for the action, but decides his fingers wrapping around the one that held his own would do. ]

( He'll give Dhaos a small, reassuring smile! Shh, now isn't the time to judge people, Dragon King and Miata isn't the right person to judge either. )

[ Perhaps not. He doesn't know whether to smile or not, though. But the haze of anger and frustration has passed, although unfortunately not the pain. Still, he feels a little bad now. ]

Say something! Don't just turn away! [She'd backed off when Hinata spoke up since...well, he's a lot nicer than she is, but she's not letting her go this easily.]

After this damn trial...no, after everything, how can you keep just staying on the sidelines?! If you really can do something to help but refuse to, then you're just as bad as the people who run this stupid game in the first place!

Would you be saying this if she wasn't your citizen?! [Undyne still doesn't really know what that means, but she overheard what Lithuania said to Dhaos.]

Innocent people are dying. I don't care what they're doing to her - if you see injustice being committed on this level and don't do anything to step in, there's no excuse for that! [let's hope a certain sleepy skeleton isn't nearby to overhear this...]

I don't know what I'd be saying. [She's never been in this circumstance before, and she can't see beyond Miata being someone she needs to protect.] I do know we don't know enough about what's going on here to condemn her.

That's funny, because it seems like the only person who might know enough about what's going on is her, and she won't tell us shit.

[She rubs a hand over her face, looking more tired than furious now.] All I know is that people are going to keep dying. And the only person here who might be able to help us stop this game for good...won't.

Isn't it more likely she can't? She's probably a shitty prisoner just like the rest of us, just with a fancy title and a job. She definitely doesn't get paid enough to deal with all our salty asses.

I'm sure that if she could do something she would. Whatever's at work here--it can't be something simple to overcome, or we'd all have escaped by now. [Lithuania isn't as upset with Undyne as she is with Dhaos, but Lithuania can't help but have Miata-related blinders, at least a bit.]

[She looks surprised for a moment - she hadn't actually expected Miata to agree - but it barely dampens her rage at all.]

And you're happy with that? You don't want to change at all? Not even after seeing all this?

Of course I'm not. I don't want anyone else to die.

But there's only so much I can do with a gun being held to my head. But if you think it's cowardly of me to not rebel, that's fine. I wouldn't doubt that you'd be way less cautious if you were in my position. And I don't mean that as an insult.

It is cowardly. [But she seems to be simmering down a little, going from rage to intense passion.]

If there's a gun to your head, then let us help. You're not alone! [She throws an arm out wide, gesturing at everyone outside.] There's plenty of people here - strong people, good people - who'll help you fight back! We all want out of this game just as much as you do! If your life is in danger, we'll do our best to save you if you put your faith in us! When everyone puts their hearts together, there's nothing we can't do!
