week 4
![]() 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

[They are both pretty full, yes. Look, we're gonna say there was enough clothes in his closet for this not to be a problem because motives. Both in-game and katar's lack of them in the beginning. He's probably been wearing magic self-cleaning space underwear this whole time, even if he decided to foray into the exciting world of Earth clothes. Don't judge his life by his laundry.]
[And at least he's not as bad as Bill, who still hasn't done his laundry even by week four, and is probably actually going to put a bar of soap in the machine at some point.]
Oh, is that what these lines are for, then? [He holds up the cap to the laundry detergent, which he apparently opened at some point while Gilbert was talking. He had to know what this detergent stuff looks like.] How ingenious!

But yes okay as far as First Time Laundry Goers, Faize is doing pretty well so far! He'll just. You know. Stay here for a little while after everything's set up to make sure it all goes smoothly. Leave it to his luck to make it so the washing machine explodes the day Faize tries to use it or something.]
Mm, that's right. Since these are both full, you'll want to fill it to this line.
[Tapping the side of the cup somewhere between the second and third up from the bottom.]

[Speaking of cookies, Faize is a pretty smart one. Which is probably why things aren't going as horribly as they could. He did at least make an attempt to understand by looking over the machines and cleaning supplies. But he'll probably be a little confused when it comes time to use the dryer, so maybe staying isn't a half bad idea.]
[...unless Gilbert was planning on going off to commit MURDER in between laundry loads.]
I see. I appreciate the assistance, Gilbert. I will have to return the favor at another time.
[Doop doop, putting detergent in the machine. Pondering over the dials for a moment. Let's see if he can figure out cycles on his own or not.]

It's fine. These things can be complicated to learn, especially when there are more pressing issues to focus on.
[Like not dying or being tempted into murder...
That said, he'll step back and wait for Faize to make his laundry attempt here!]
