Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up.

Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone.

This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

[ Anyone who visits the pool on Thursday will find that the filters have been turned on and that the water is now heated. The source of the heating is fairly obvious: Astrid has gotten her dragon inside the area, and occasionally Stormfly will heat the water up with flames - though she's careful not to boil it under Astrid's strict instructions. Astrid and Stormfly will be there the entire day; Roxy Lalonde will join them for 90% of the day, save when she's investigating shit on her own time.

If you don't want to hang with 2 cool blondes but want to enjoy a heated pool you can use this as a mini toplevel I guess, I'll do that too. HI. ]

roxy/astrid combo;

[ For a lot of the afternoon, Astrid and Roxy are hanging out at the pool together, mostly because Astrid got Stormfly to heat the pool specifically for Roxy. They're easily found chatting, either in the pool or dangling their legs in when it gets a little too hot.

Roxy's obviously the chattier of the two. ]

OMG, brainstorm! We should get some of the others in here and play a round or two of Chicken. [ The bubblier blonde flicks some water at her companion, who immediately sends a wave back. That...that was more than a splash, Astrid. Roxy splutters and spits out some water, but doesn't seem too annoyed. ]

No idea what that is. [ Please explain. ]

Well, you'd put me on your shoulders - because of the two of us, you're the hella muscle-y one - and then we'd try to knock over another set of people also doing that? Or maybe you'd be better on top to knock people over, but I'm nooooot sure I could lift you. Because I'm not hella muscle-y. [ Roxy glances up to the door of the pool and brightens. ] Hey! A challenger approaches!

If we get to beat someone up, I'm in. [ MAYBE THE CHALLENGER SHOULD RUN AWAY.

astrid solo;

[ When she isn't hanging out with Roxy - when did the two of them get close, anyway? - Astrid hangs out with her other pal at the pool. Stormfly, who is curled up on the tile outside of the pool and who occasionally will re-heat the pool on command with some well-placed flames.

She's also brought some towels, and is currently giving her companion a bath, shining Stormfly's scales. ]

All right, girl, I think that should do it - hey!

[ That last part is a startled yelp as Stormfly playfully tips Astrid into the pool. WATCH OUT FOR THE FALLING VIKING - who immediately surfaces and spits out some water, before narrowing her eyes. ]

Oh, it's on.

[ ...Astrid, you can't win a water fight against a dragon??? But uh she's gonna try maybe get out of the way if you don't wanna be wet ]

[Most people come to the pool in a bathing suit with a big over sized sweater on top of it right?]

Who are you beating up?
