seven vices week 4

28 players remaining

monday - thursday

Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up.

Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone.

I gotta say Hazelwood, that Earth one is probably my favorite so far. Don't you have three though?

[Sorry, you're getting tired? He had no idea.]
symbologic: for a cooking show and then proceeded to throw cookies at people. (unsure ☄ Apparently I had an idea for a)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-10 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Even if the ground seals itself up seamlessly when the spike retreats, it still leaves evidence behind. Little rocks scattered here and there. Is that why it's your favorite, Bill? The rocks.]

Yes. Earth Glaive, Ice Needles, and Shadow Needles: my most basic symbols in each of the elements I am capable of using. [Ugh. Give him a minute though.] Just...allow me a moment and I can show you the last one.

[personal profile] billarious 2016-03-10 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Well that and can you imagine what that'd do to someone standing over top of it?]

Shadow Needles? That sounds like it's probably the best of the three, even if I'm pretty partial to Earth Glaive. Take your time, it's not like I'm going anywhere!
symbologic: pretending to be a substitute for a computer applications class. (talk ☄ I'm at a local community college)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-10 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
[He doesn't need to imagine...he knows! It sends them flying into the air and then moments later, their bodies come crashing back down to the ground. Not something you want to get hit by, really.]

Truthfully, the only real difference, apart from the composition of the "needles" themselves, is that it's an attack that always comes from behind. It matters neither which way the target is facing, nor where the caster is in relation to the target.

[So yeah, basically it's Bill's kind of spell.]

[personal profile] billarious 2016-03-10 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
It naturally tells which way the target's facing and attacks them from behind? Incredible!

[Definitely his kind of spell.]

Maybe this one really will be my favorite.
symbologic: for the syringes and miniature cactus garden that have magically taken over your fridge. (neutral ☄ Why yes. I am responsible)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-10 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Though that aspect will be a bit difficult to demonstrate without an actual target, so I assumed it best to tell you beforehand.
billarious: (4)

[personal profile] billarious 2016-03-11 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! What if we made you a target? We could pile up some of this snow and put a coat over it and you could pretend it's an enemy.

[Look at him, bringing the good ideas to the table.]
symbologic: and covered in cookies. We should celebrate fake hurricanes every weekend. (shock ☄ Woke up on the floor naked)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-11 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[As expecting of a muse. Yes. A muse. Definitely not an evil demon pretending to be a muse!]

Oh! Yes, that would work perfectly. We could make one of those "snowmen".

[Sometimes the fact that Faize is an alien just hits you like a sack of bricks in the face. And it's usually when he's saying some random, mundane Earth word.]
billarious: (1)

[personal profile] billarious 2016-03-11 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[Definitely a muse. Demons would never be overflowing with this kind of creativity, right?]

"Snowmen"?

[Bill really isn't much better.]

You mean shape it like a human?
symbologic: And when I get home we can have a slow motion hug and eat them (talk ☄ You should make cookies.)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-11 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
A very rudimentary human form, but essentially, yes. It's something Hanyuu showed me. You roll balls of snow and stack them on top of one another, then draw a face on the topmost one.

Though I believe normally they are supposed to be much bigger than what anyone is capable of making with the amount of snow present here.

[The one Hanyuu made was so small...so tiny...]

[personal profile] billarious 2016-03-11 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Amazing! Let's do it! We could use up all the snow here and make as big of one as possible! There's a lot of snow now with more of this dinky little town revealed, right?

[They'll make the biggest, bestest snowman ever and then ruthlessly kill it with shadow needles.]
symbologic: We got drunk and threw a sword through his windshield. (happy ☄ You should have been there.)

[personal profile] symbologic 2016-03-14 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm, there certainly is more snow now than there was initially. [Even...though...he's never actually seen said snow FALL, but whatever.] I believe we should be able to make a fairly decent sized one. It should make for a very nice target.
