seven vices week 4 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. [ Oh boy training with an older lady who also uses a spear this sure brings back memories--

Awesome! I haven't really had any decent sparring partners since we got here. [She thrusts her spear towards Alisha in a few basic passes, going slowly for now.]

[ That lady shows up on the monitor, that should tell you plenty... ]

There are very few people who favor the spear as a weapon. [ And she's grateful there's at least one other, because it's been a long time since she's been able to practice like this. It's easy enough to block or parry the few passes Undyne sends, just to warm up. ]

They don't know what they're missing out on! Though I wouldn't say no to one of those giant swords bigger than a human either. [She gradually speeds up her strikes and makes them more complex, though she sticks to a pattern. She's not looking to actually fight Alisha after all, just to practice.]

You'd be able to wield such a thing??

[ Granted, this is Undyne-- who is making Alisha step up her game here, and that she can do. It just takes a few quick seconds to adjust to the change of speed, to pick up the newest complexity she adds to the pattern, and to respond to it. It's definitely a workout, but it's one she's grateful for. ]
