seven vices week 4

28 players remaining

monday - thursday

Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up.

Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone.

More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly.

[She hands it over immediately.]

Please do. The only method available to me is danmaku, but that might just dent the metal and splatter the contents.

[Plus after the debacle that was Kaguya's murder plot she'd really rather not use her danmaku unless she needs to.]

[ Ripping the top off with ease, now. ]

... That does sound like it would be unfortunate.

[ Looks at the contents before handing it back to her. ]

I presume you have a...taste for this particular item, then?
unpleasantries: (You took care of your skin)

[personal profile] unpleasantries 2016-03-09 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
[She looks at the contents of the can. THIS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE TUNA BACK HOME THAT'S FOR SURE.]

Oh, no, it's not for me. Though, to be honest, this...looks a little...

[Gross.]

...You wouldn't feed a cat this, would you?

[She says, even though she hasn't tasted it yet.]
dhaosu: colored in by me (> the demons did what?)

[personal profile] dhaosu 2016-03-09 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
[ It looks like nasty human processed food. ]

... No. I would go for something that was perhaps more fresh and less dead-looking. It may be a common object humans use to feed cats with, however, and you may take that route if you so wish it.

That said-- did you happen to have a cat brought with you?
unpleasantries: (Oh they're gonna put me away this time)

[personal profile] unpleasantries 2016-03-09 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
No, my cat...didn't come with me. She's probably still working dutifully, even in my absence, so I'm not too worried about her.

[She sighs, pushing the can of tuna to the side.]

It's baseless sentimentality, but Cheshire reminds me of her, just a little. Their personalities aren't particularly alike, but they are both cats, and I was hoping to find something suitable I could offer him as a gift.

[And maybe Ranulf too...she just likes animals a lot.]

If anything, from what I observed, cats do like 'toys'. Perhaps they have a cat toy somewhere in this store?

[ He doesn't know. But hey, he got along with Cheshire so. ]

Either way, I'm sure he would appreciate the thought. This week has not been easy like the others, after all and he does tend to get riled up easily.

[personal profile] unpleasantries 2016-03-10 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm...even if they don't, I'm sure I could fashion something out of what we have. That's a good idea.

[Makes her wish she could've dug it out of his head and pretended she came up with it.]

...What do you think of this week's motive?

[Her voice is carefully even - trying not to let on how much it's been bothering her.]
dhaosu: (> grave)

[personal profile] dhaosu 2016-03-10 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
[ He folds his arms. Regarding the question, thee is a pause on his end, and truly at the thought of the motive he frowns, remembering his own reaction to it... ]

I believe it is one of the worst ones they have presented thus far. One could buy into the lies believing that our kidnappers would be generous enough to 'fix' their own mistakes. It is clearly but another way to have them to once again see blood spilled again, with suffering, so that their depraved craving can be temporarily satisfied.

[ And there's his answer. ]

And yourself? What do you think of it?
unpleasantries: (She muttered: no problem)

[personal profile] unpleasantries 2016-03-11 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
...I think it's the cruelest yet. Some of the previous motives have been unsettling in that they addled our minds, but...this is the first one that appeals to the conscious mind, to faculties we are in control of. This is a more personal motivation, and that makes it the most powerful.

[Everyone has someone they regret. well maybe not bill but]
