week 4
![]() 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |
monday!
[This is more of a self-directed mutter of an observation than a conversation starter, but that's what Gilbert intends it to be, anyway...
He'd been looking through the police station himself, of course, but they end up at the jail cell at the same time. He hovers somewhat warily outside of it, eying the place from top to bottom.]

[ Dhaos turns his attention to Glibert, and peers some more into the place, deciding to have gone straight into the jail cell himself. But... nope all he can see in here are the handcuffs and nothing else within the dirty place.
He takes a step back out of it. ]
It appears that this town was clearly once even inhabited...although it is a wonder what caused it to be abandoned in the first place. That said, there doesn't appear to be anything of note, unless you found something yourself?

[More killing tools...]

[ He is not sure how some weapons work, because he has never seen a gun used before in his life, but if it can be put together after being taken apart then he's not going to risk it. ]
How about we take care of that now before someone has any 'funny' ideas?
no subject
[Nodding in agreement, either way. He doesn't want to end up implicated in a murder because of his sharpshooting skills, okay...]
no subject
...Are you familiar with some of these strange weapons in this building? Besides the 'rod' of course.
no subject
Er— [He's not even sure what Dhaos is talking about, but he'll nod in response to the question, at least.] I am. The guns, at least... The ones here are more advanced than the pistols from my world, but they work similarly.
no subject
More advanced? Then surely that means they're more dangerous. It is a good thing she suggested such a thing before the week proceeded too far in.
[ And now going up that stair-case. ]
no subject
[Up they go! Gilbert will follow to the Room Of Guns, sighing once they walk in.]
At this rate, they're going to provide more weapons than we can keep up with.
no subject
There is enough 'magic' involved, after all, and...with what you said, I believe when new areas open up, we are going to require to do this more than once.
[ Dhaos heads towards that display rack. ]
no subject
That should be easy enough to manage, at least... If it keeps going at the rate of one new building a week, anyway.
[He'll follow along after, picking up one of the guns.]
no subject
[ He said it dryly, especially as he picks up a gun and literally just. Snaps it in half. ]
Odd, what kind of 'ammunition' are these usually filled with? Magic?
no subject
Uh— [?!?!??] Oh. No - no, they're usually filled with bullets. Little pieces of metal that are fired out at very fast speeds... These are all empty. Lithuania checked earlier.
no subject
I see. Fortunately, such a thing never existed from whence I came. There are enough things that could kill or harm as it is.
no subject
[People just love finding new ways to murder each other, apparently...!]
no subject
[ Almost done snapping them all into pieces. ]
no subject
Er— something like that. There are existences where I come from that can substitute as weapons for some.
no subject
... Existences? You can travel interdimensionally?
no subject
I can't— [WELL... No, that's a good enough answer.] But the Chains can.
no subject
[ What even. Is this a prison kink thing going on.....not that he would think that. ]
