week 4
![]() 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

[GLANCING OVER... Every time Rhys does the little oh noooo whine, Gilbert knows it's time to be a little concerned...]
no subject
Gilbert! H-Hey, man. Yo.
[ and then he just sort of looks confused because did he just say yo? ]
no subject
He's also politely averting his gaze from the monitor, because like Urashima, he doesn't feel he has any right to snoop.]
Should we step out?
[If the motive's rough, might as well not stick around!]
no subject
Dude, this motive. Regret? That's -- That's pretty messed up!
[ wise words from a guy super familiar with making bad decisions, honestly. ]
no subject
...Well, they've been pretty messed up from the start.
[The motives and the people running this entire thing.]
But this is definitely something that people shouldn't take advantage of. The ability to change the past... Nothing good comes from that.
no subject
Yeah, but this is... more.
[ at least for rhys it is! he looks over at gilbert after he says that, raising an eyebrow. ]
I don't know, man. There's a lot of things I wouldn't mind going back and changing. If it's something small, what's the harm, right? [ pulling out some coffee filters now as he continues. ] Saying no when you said yes. Saying yes when you said no. Hah. Would be sweet.
no subject
But as Rhys will find, both himself and Break are firmly in the No Changing The Past camp, and Gilbert shakes his head in response.]
Even a small decision could end up having enormous consequences. That's the way it works. You could try to fix something small and end up killing people, you know?
[JUMPING TO EXTREMES-- Well, it's not too extreme for their bizarro world.]
no subject
Yeah, but if it's just a few people, what's the harm?
[ man, it's a good thing rhys won't be on the suspect list later because lmao. ]
