week 4
![]() 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

Uh, surprise then? Look at me, caring about the situation we're in. Wow.
no subject
Yes, it does come as a surprise. Did you actually manage to discover something useful?
no subject
Not really. I'm mostly trying to commit what it looks like to memory. If anything's disturbed later, I can match it up to what I see now. So far, just a normal police station, I guess.
[ . . . ]
I've, uh, never actually seen an Earth police station so...

[ He just draws a layout or something when something pops up. Having that good if a memory means the guy is good for something, it seems. ]
...
I have never been to Earth, either. I presume you hail from a different locale, then?
[ Flips a page through someone's ugly mug. If he ever discovers something useful from this he will laugh. ]

[ a pause. he's explaining this all wrong. does this guy even know what a computer is? he's not sure so he just shakes his head. ]
No, nevermind. I have a photographic memory.
[ photographer graphic memory... what. he'll just subtly correct that then while he continues looking around the place. a "different locale" the guy says and uhm. hm. ]
Yeaaaah. Right now, I live on Helios -- a space station that my company, Hyperion owns. I'm from Eden-5 though. Whooole different thing. Kind of earth-y but not.
no subject
But the mention of the words 'space station' catch his attention. ]
... I presume it's advanced magitech if you're able to live in that 'space station', considering where it must be, or that you're not human?
[ Because he hasn't heard of advanced tech that doesn't run on magic/mana, so. ]
no subject
Magictech? Like... magic and technology? No. There's no such thing as magic where I come from. We're just really, really advanced -- technologically.
[ and, oh. ]
Also, I'm human.
[ despite the arm and eye. he's totally human! ]
