seven vices week 4 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. It's the least that I feel I should do. I may do Thursday night patrols around certain areas too.

[She can't even really say "be careful" considering the retired player thing, so instead:]

I hope that your efforts are successful, Buddy.

[Let's not have any more dead people.]

Thank you. I hope to see you come to me if you need it, but I understand why you wouldn't want to.

[Killing is a normal part of life for Buddy, but with everything that happened she understands if people are pissed at her.]

It isn't that.

[There's a gentler smile in response to that, even as she shakes her head. Selena's a soldier, okay... she doesn't really have the right to judge someone playing the game in a situation this tense, though she does think murder is despicable.

But circumstances that push a young girl into it?

It's not really Buddy's fault.]

Rather, I, too, would like to be on hand if something happens. Though we have not had much luck thus far... perhaps between the both of us, further deaths can be prevented.

[She nods.]

You should still be cautious though. Nobody can hurt me now, but you can still be killed. I don't want that to happen.

[fluorospar]

I will be fine, of course.

[She's confident enough, and she'll be careful.]

But thank you for your concern. In return, please take care of yourself as well. You may not be able to be physically harmed here any longer, but there are other forms of hurt.

[And she suspects Buddy must be hurting.]

...I'll be fine. I'm free now, so I'll be fine.

[This is what being happy is, right?]

... I sincerely hope that that is the case.

[But she's not going to pick that apart, because if that's what Buddy's holding onto to keep going, what right does Selena have to undermine it?]

[With that, she'll begin to walk off.]
