week 3 - trial; day 1

seven vices case 3 trial, day 1 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? victims   suspects      cast setting rulebook

Um, at least one other girl has to go with you guys. I'm not saying I think Lithuania did it, but... you know. In the interest of making sure that there's no evidence that might get missed, even by accident.

I would most definitely look Lithuania up and down from head to toe for hours and hours when she's naked even without her being on trial!

I'm here! [Jerking her head towards the curtain.] You ready to go?

Yes. [Lithuania walks behind the curtain. Laima stands guard in front, so no one should try sneaking a look. Lithuania removes her clothes quickly--she'd like to get this done as soon as possible. Even so, she still folds her clothes after removing them. Her body is actually more muscular than it appears under normal circumstances; her stomach is probably rock hard. The source of Lithuania's nervousness is the dozens of scars all over her back. They're all clearly old scars, though. It doesn't look like she has any injuries.]

[Wow...is it possible that Lithuania isn't just a nerd, she's a nerdy badass? Undyne will file this away into her mental notes.]

Okay, looks like you're clear! [Clapping her on the shoulder!] Also, you look pretty tough! We should train together sometime.

[Lithuania will get dressed as quickly as possible. It's pretty quick.] That could be fun. [Though Lithuania knows she can't compete with Undyne, training is still a thing she really enjoys...]

[He still doesn't know what he did wrong or why he has to apologize to Lithuania?? But this is probably the only way to fix his relationship with Poland if he can.]

[You will have to wait until Laima finishes guarding Lithuania's strip search, but once that's over, Laima will walk over to Poland!]

[Poland pulls off Laima's collar.]

[Poland will actually check Laima for weird scratches and what have yous though.

Because she is a serious investigator who investigates seriously.]

[Poland looks sour suddenly.

[Holds up both hands! He honestly looks apologetic here.]

Look, I just... in case the culprit planted evidence against her, you want to make sure that no one tries to say that you were hiding something from your strip search, right? Then they'd just do it all over again.

[Poland's nails are suddenly the most interesting piece of evidence in the room with how she's studying them.]

I'm not the one to apologize to.

I'll apologize to Lithuania too, don't worry. I just... we need to make sure there's no question about anything anyone's uncovered, right?

[A kicked puppy, it's Hinata. He's not even as cute as Laima though so just toss him out with the trash.]

If I was hiding something I'd of just shown up as an accomplice anyways so.
