week 3 - trial; day 1
![]() ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? setting rulebook |

Also this is getting awkward. So while poking her head out to talk to them:]
I don't mind as long as we check everything... but are you two okay?
[You're almost scaring her.]

[Nothing inside the shoes! The mattress has nothing underneath it and neither do the pillows. If he glances at the table there are papers with crayons on top them. Some of the papers look like they've been drawn on too.]
[The bathroom won't be as dirty as the rest of the room. The lid on the toilet is closed and both the sink and bathtub are completely dry. Even her toothbrush is dry because what the hell is oral hygiene?]

[You two??? There's someone here other than her and Lucy??? Could have fooled her!!! Anyway, she'll move on to the safe.]

[Vegeta looks through the papers, though he's pretty sure he knows what they are.]

Also this is the worst married couple fight she has ever had to sit through. And Undyne is the only one here NOT married.]
...Those are both really good points but it would be a lot easier if everyone got along while searching too.
[Being used as a middle man is weird!]

[The papers will be the drawings Buddy made last night, as stated in her alibi. Unlike the drawings in the school she made during the week, these pictures are only of women in the town. The only three women who don't have a picture are the dead ones - Kaguya, Sisuca and Kurisu - and Buddy didn't make a picture of herself. Some of the drawings have multiple women grouped together, others only have just one or two.]
[The bed side table won't have anything of note on it aside from the papers and crayons. Looks like they all came from the school house. The blank pages are perfectly blank, with maybe some small crayon smudges on them.]

What do you mean? We're getting along perfectly fine! We're all best friends here!! I'm sure we can solve this trial even though some people seem to find it too difficult to keep track of anything! [Look Lucy, no one's died yet, this is the best she can do.]

I didn't come here to make friends. [This isn't the best he can do, but no one is currently bleeding so it's fine.
Vegeta goes to check the second bed, doing basically what he did for the bed that actually looked slept in.]

You don't have to be friends to get along.
[JUST SAYING. But fine, at least no one is bleeding out in Buddy's room. She will accept this probably best ending.]

[The second bed has nothing of interest to note, aside from a couple articles of clothing on it. It hasn't even been slept in or messed up like the one she's been sleeping in.]
