week 3
![]() 31 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a small school building to the east of the clinic. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Sisuca, Kurisu, and Mikazuki have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Sisuca's hunting knives and Kurisu's....device are nowhere to be found. >Mingle? This is Week 3's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday. When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below. More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly. setting rulebook profiles private conversations |

[ He can be found here once more. The new motive's already settled in, but he doesn't seem to be any different than the usual. Should anyone come in, he will turn to face them, and they will see he's holding a few papers in his hands. ]
...?
Wednesday, school, afternoon
[ Dhaos can actually be found in the school, later in the day. At some point he's moved the printed books himself. One of them is open, but he has lost interest in it and therefore not paying it much attention until he will have to clean up. He begins to play a tune to himself. Perhaps like so many others have done so beforehand, although he'd stop immediately when someone does step in, and turn to face whomever it may be. ]
Were you looking for someone... or something?
Alternate scenario
[ He's found in the classroom, putting things back, because something did occur and he managed to trip over something and for someone like him, that would mean a troublesome mess. Although it's obviously abandoned, he doesn't like leaving such things a mess and even tries to clean it up a little. He muttered underneath his breath: ]
Blasted small, human-designed rooms...
Thursday, morning, hotel lobby
[ He can be found here, and despite everything, he offers a little smile or tries to, regardless of who it is. There is just a bit of tea in his hands and he has just emerged from the kitchen. ]
...Good morning.
Wednesday
It's almost as if she can hear Austria's obnoxiously loud screech scolding her for listening in doorways even in an alternate murder-y universe.
This seems to bring a great satisfaction to her face for some reason.]
Do you play?
no subject
He certainly recognizes her well enough. ]
That I do. Do you wish for myself to continue, then? Or...?
no subject
She looks like she's pretty much bubbling over with excitement over this.]
Go on, go on!
no subject
...Very well, then. I presume you have a liking to piano music?
[ He begins to play a light piano refrain, continuing off from earlier. ]
no subject
[They're not her happiest memories, sitting with Austria everyday at the piano. But.
Well. There are worse ways to spend being partitioned. Honestly.]
What's this song called?
no subject
[ The tune makes him think of the snow-covered city of Arlee, even if it weren't one he bothered to venture into. ]
However, there is no name for the song. If you so wish it, though, you could name it yourself, or suggest one.

wednesday
[He'd kind of been hoping he'd be alone, though. But, nevertheless, he investigates the sound of the piano when he hears it, peering into the room quietly. Though, apparently, not quietly enough.]
Ah, no. I...not in particular, at least. I merely came here in search of a distraction.
no subject
[ He seems to think of something. Well, he was looking for a distraction. ]
That said, Faize, do you know how to play?
no subject
I do not. We have some instruments that function in a similar manner on Eldar, however they do not look like this. But even so, I must admit that my education was a little lacking when it comes to the arts. Music, especially so.
[He has some skill when it comes to drawing, at least, but since he mainly does blueprints it's...not really art.]
no subject
[ Peering curiously at him. It isn't like they had anything better to do. Although he is not sure if it would help or be something the other wishes to entertain. ]
no subject
[He doesn't really see the point in learning something like that, because he's too left-brain to live, but... it's not like there's much else to do here. He's yet to really find anything to really fill the time that isn't spent training, sleeping, or eating. So he takes a few steps closer to the piano, until he's eventually standing next to the bench.]
no subject
[ He plays them one at a time, saying which letter-key (C, C♯, etc.) goes to which. ]
However, you'll remember them soon enough. One easy way to remember is to repeat the note in your head as you play the key. It will be a combination of memorization, a bit of proper technique, and of course, practice.

thursday
Once he sees the smile and hears the greeting, he smiles in return and gives a short, friendly wave. ] Hey there. Good morning to you too! [ He spots the mug and, unfortunately, he's immediately reminded of last week.
His tail and ears lower but he maintains his smile. ] That doesn't smell like coffee. Is it tea?
no subject
Yes, it is tea. Are you thinking of the what occurred not too long ago?
no subject
He raises his gaze from the mug to Dhaos' face. ] Then again, it's no surprise. I doubt anyone will forget what happened last week anytime soon.
no subject
No, they will not. I know that some are still hesitant to grab some manner of drink from the kitchen. Especially coffee.
[ If anything, people would be more willing to drink from the tap than use a cup for awhile....... ]
no subject
At least that will make it harder to poison anyone. I wish we didn't have to be so on guard, but that's how it is here. [ Sigh. It really is a shame though, mostly for those who have no experience with this sort of thing.
... not that he does either, per se. ] You don't seem to have a problem drinking the tea though. Is it because you made it yourself?
no subject
I figure it would reach this point eventually.
[ He has experience with being on guard, to be quite honest. ]
I did make the tea myself. Although even if I did not and someone did attempt to poison myself in such a manner, they would immediately regret it.

tuesday glitterbomb
Clover makes a big dramatic show of leaping over a few pews so she can get over to Dhaos and get all up in his personal space, reaching for the papers.] Ooh, what're these? What're you up to?
[Go Undyne go go go]

[ Dhaos frowns as he steps back, clearly uncomfortable with someone getting up in his personal space. He seems to freeze in a sudden thought, as if something comes to his mind, but nothing seems to come of it. It appears, that he has assumed that only just the girl has come to annoy him. ]
Mind your distance.
no subject
Define "mind." [The personal space invasion continues in a direction pushing him closer to the confessional. Clover clicks the heel of her shoe twice against the floor while she's prancing and swishing around, bothersome as anything. His attentions are misdirected, the signal has been given, go Undyne GO GO GO.]
no subject
TAKE THAT!!
no subject
Indeed, he did sense the other presence, but he was going to give no indication of that. However, he is not psychic in the way that is able to predict such things as someone's actions, and that is why he is standing there, covered in orange glitter. He froze, rooted in the spot, blue eyes widened, and someone can faintly hear the sound of a small pick up of wind, which seemed to die down straight after after he realized that no he wasn't the victim of a sinister plan.
If anything, after the glitter fell all over him, it just simply brushed a bit of it here or there, but the damage was done. ]
...........
[ Dhaos then curiously looked at the sparkles, rubbing the strange objects in between his fingers, using his right hand. He does not get it. What is the meaning of this? He does not understand. ]
...What is this?
