seven vices week 3

31 players remaining

monday - thursday

Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice.

"Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour."

That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present.

After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a small school building to the east of the clinic. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Sisuca, Kurisu, and Mikazuki have been hung up.

Anyone looking for them will find that Sisuca's hunting knives and Kurisu's....device are nowhere to be found.

>Mingle?

This is Week 3's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Investigations will go up on Friday.

When posting toplevels, specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations between characters, remember to let us know in the post linked below.

More plot elements will be introduced this week. Mod comments will be occasionally distributed to open toplevels, accordingly.

symbologic: is for chemistry and not for producing felonies. (unsure ☄ Please tell me that equipment)

That...is true, yes.

[He doesn't really see the point in learning something like that, because he's too left-brain to live, but... it's not like there's much else to do here. He's yet to really find anything to really fill the time that isn't spent training, sleeping, or eating. So he takes a few steps closer to the piano, until he's eventually standing next to the bench.]
dhaosu: (> complacent)

First, is to learn which note corresponds to which key. Which may take some time...

[ He plays them one at a time, saying which letter-key (C, C♯, etc.) goes to which. ]

However, you'll remember them soon enough. One easy way to remember is to repeat the note in your head as you play the key. It will be a combination of memorization, a bit of proper technique, and of course, practice.
symbologic: but wheres the fun in that? I'd rather black out and hope for the best (neutral ☄ I could study & ace my tests)

Well, it isn't as though we are particularly pressed for time at the moment. However if it's a matter of memorization, I may pick up on this faster than you think. [He did have everyone's profiles committed to memory within a day or so.] Hold on just a moment...

[Let him go dig through the craft supplies for some paper. He's good at memorizing, but not quite that good! It'll take more than just one showing of the notes.] Could you repeat those?
