Hey, if they can build giant robots and swords made of lasers and princess transformations, they can do anything! [What are special effects she is pretty sure everything she sees on human television is 100% true???]

Anyway, it's not like even we know for sure what we saw was real. I've never heard of any kind of magic that can speed up time like that. [See they're not really lying, they're just...putting forth a possible theory!! Yeah!!]

[sans would call alphys a liar but, y'know, pot, kettle, science nerds. mostly he thinks the fact that undyne believes cartoons are real is hilarious. still, he's got to point out a flaw in her theory because deep inside of him there is a pedantic time magic scientist.]

i'd never heard of magic to slow down time either, but it looks like they've got both.

They didn't actually slow down time though, they just made it seem like everything took foreeeever. [Which is probably...easier?] Anyway, I'm not saying that execution wasn't real, just that we don't know for sure it was. I'm not about to just fall for everything these filthy kidnappers tell us!

they didn't technically speed up time, either. [but enough pedantry] anyway, they haven't lied about anything yet. everything's been really straightforward... except the why. [which is definitely weird]

Probably. Maybe they've gotten so bored after trapping monsters underground that they've decided to do it with their own kind.

Still doesn't change the fact that they're evil jerks, but...you think figuring out why we're here would help us get out any faster? Because I'm gonna go crazy if we have to keep playing their stupid game and solving all these dumb puzzles.

at least we've got a lot of puzzle practice. those old traditions ended up coming in handy someday after all. papyrus is definitely gonna use that to make me recalibrate the puzzles back in snowdin. dang.

[um are you implying that Undyne has not fought or murdered enough people for her LOVE to reach 10 yet okay she probably hasn't since this is pacifist route but shhh]

Yeah, and I hated those too!! I don't see why we can't just drop rocks on all the killers, that's my kind of puzzle!
