[ So it wasn't an illusion at all. What she saw earlier wasn't a lie. She can't help but fall onto her knees, just staring blankly at the dead body... ah, how ironic, she found Alisha's body before, didn't she? Maybe she's cursed to see a part of a couple die. ]

[The green hair should have made it obvious from the beginning. Who else has hair quite that vibrant? Hinata's breath catches in his throat, and then it's Time To Scream, a visceral sound that had been building since he'd seen Urashima's torso by the school.]

Faize?! Faize!

[And he's sprinting toward him, almost tripping on his way to grab Faize's shoulders, touching his face, his head, trying to figure out if there's any chance the other boy is still breathing.]

Faize, n-no, c'mon, you can't...!!

[He's blinking past tears he doesn't even seem to realize are gathering in his eyes, trying to figure out if there's any way he can save his best friend.]

[ Faize is absolutely covered in blood, more than a head wound of that size would produce, so Hinata will not emerge from this unscathed. Even so, his efforts are not in vain, because when Faize's shoulder is grabbed, there's a labored, shuddering breath.

Faize is actually still alive, but in critical condition. HURRY, TEEN SQUAD. ]

Faize!

[Oh my god. He doesn't even turn to look at Inaba, tugging his sweater sleeve down to cover his hand as he tries to at least stem the flow of blood.]

He's alive! G-go get help, Inaba, GO!

Eh?

[ She's in shock, eyes shooting wide. ]

Wait, what if- [ THE MURDERER MIGHT STILL BE AROUND she can't have this be her fault twice. But... ] A-Alright, I'll go! You two better be alive when I get back!

[ GONNA FUCK OUTTA HERE again, thanks ]

[Lithuania is--well, around the clinic, anyway. Hi, Inaba! She has heard all the screaming you guys are doing and it sounds like there's a murder or something but it's only Thursday?] What's going on?

Urashima is dead and Faize-- he's hurt, at the park!

[ She's frantic, goddamn it. ]

Urashima-- [Ice runs through her veins. Urashima is dead? Faize is hurt, Urashima is dead-- She looks stricken, because Urashima is--but Faize is hurt. She needs to prioritize.] Hurt how? [She darts into the clinic to grab things at breakneck speed.]

I don't know, Hajime, he-- told me to go grab someone as soon as possible, so--!

[ This is Important, after all. ]

[Lithuania grabs a bit of everything. Maybe she should be carrying her first aid kit everywhere with her. Then she's running back out again.] I'll go help!

[What the hell are you guys shouting about on a Thursday afternoon?

Pony crew will come investigate. Quickly.]

[Oh.]

Oh my god. [Poland is hoping off said pony and uncharacteristically rushing to help a bloody child.]

Poland!

[He sounds so pathetic right now. His sweater is covered in blood that he's still frantically trying to stem. Please Help.]

I-I don't know what to do, w-we found him here, I--! H-he's breathing, b-but--!!

[Faize you asshole, you better still be breathing.]

[Lithuania shows up after Himeko alerts her, and since she was near the clinic she has bandages and gauze and all sorts of things with her. She's relieved to see Poland already there and pretty horrified to see Hinata.]

Himeko found me--Poland, how is he? [Since Poland is closer.]

Is he conscious at all? [Poland will smack his face around a little, while smushing Hinata's hand down with her other hand to make sure he's really trying to stem the bleeding tightly.

Don't look at her like that, she's a medical professional.]

Hey! Faize!

[She's pulling open his eyes to check for dilated purple pupils.]

Wake up!

[Faize is hella unconscious. As one tends to be after getting their head nearly bashed in, apparently. But he is still breathing, at least! Barely, but that's better than nothing. SMACKING HIM DOES NOT HELP THOUGH, WHAT THE HELL, POLAND. Who taught you first aid.]

[As for his pupils, well...they are dilated! But...Faize's pupils, in addition to being purple, are basically always dilated because #AlienPhysiology. So if she's trying to determine whether or not he has a concussion, it's going to take a little bit more than pulling back his eyelids.]

[Hinata is smushing down on that head wound as much as Poland is prompting him to, because he really does want to help!! He keeps blinking away tears, but his hand are too occupied trying to hold Faize's head still to really stop that.]

F-Faize, c'mon, wake up... you'll be okay, P-Poland and Lithuania are here, y-you're going to be okay, c'mon...

[Lithuania slides in--literally, her pants are now covered in dirt--beside Poland with the first aid supplies. Wow, that sure is a head wound. She'll clean up that head wound with the gauze and other things she brought, and then give some proper gauze and bandages to Hinata, with instructions to apply direct pressure to it if it doesn't look like there's a skull fracture and indirect pressure if it does.]

[Listen. She has questionable judgement even when she's not under stress-- but once Lithuania starts to help Poland finds her bedside manner.]

Keep talking to him, Hinata.

[Poland let's Faize rest his head in her lap in an attempt to elevate his shoulders and head. She's also checking him for any other serious injuries.]

Being conscious would be the ideal here.

[Good news is: there don't seem to be any serious injuries other than the head wound. He's got some minor scrapes on his left hand and face, kind of like what you'd see as a result of falling on blacktop or a sidewalk or something along those lines. The sleeve of his shirt is scuffed and even ripped in a few places, seeming to indicate the same thing.]

[And he's still covered in a whole bunch of blood that's mostly not his so...have fun with that, all three of you.]

[As for the wound to his head: it's bad enough for the skin to have broken, but not so bad that you can actually see his skull. So if there IS a fracture, it's probably (hopefully) a pretty minor one. The wound itself is jagged and irregular-looking, which will hopefully make it pretty easy to match up to whatever was used to conk him.]

[Assuming Hinata keeps ~~whispering sweet nothings in his ear~~ talking to him though, eventually Faize will start to stir. His eyes are unfocused as they slowly flicker open, and his expression is clearly hazy and disoriented. But hey, he's conscious and breathing and that's what matters here, right?]

[Maybe they were sweet nothings? Hinata wouldn't consider them to be that, mostly just helpless repetition of it's okay, you'll be fine, you've got to wake up, don't worry, you'll be okay, etc. He's trying to sound reassuring, but he's so, so afraid that the other boy won't wake up.

So when Faize finally opens his eyes, Hinata's breath catches in his throat, the hand not holding the gauze against his head wound dropping to his shoulder, just trying to let him know he's there.]

F-Faize! You're awake, s-stay with me, you've... you've got to stay awake, l-look, you've been worrying everyone, but it'll be fine now. You'll be fine!

[Thank goodness, he's awake.] Faize, can you understand us? You need to stay still. You have a head injury. [She's not sure if he can understand, but it's only fair to give him the chance.]

Here, Poland, help me bandage him up. [She needs Poland to keep pressure on the wound with the gauze so she can bandage it in place.]

[Poland keeps her fingers pressed to the gauze, while Lithuania winds the bandage around his head.]

What'd he get hit with?

[It's early on a Thursday. This must just be an accident.]

[Faize grimaces, but doesn't say actually say anything. He just kind of groans quietly and squints, attempting to raise a hand to his head but not actually managing that at all. It's probably almost five in the evening by now, but it's too fucking bright out here, there's this ringing sound that makes it impossible to hear most of what's being said, and his head is fucking killing him. Why are all of these things happening.]

[Eventually, he does try to speak. Probably once Poland and Lithuania have finished bandaging him up. But all that comes out at first are disjointed, garbled sounds that aren't actually words. They don't really even sound like the start of words, or, at least, not words in whatever language we speak here in Lettland. Hold on. Give him another minute here, he'll get it eventually.]

...Ha...jime?

[Okay well that's a start. He recognizes Hinata at least. But, again, it's pretty obvious he hasn't understood a word any of them said up to this point.]

[He doesn't speak that language, Faize! But he moves his hands out of Poland's way so she and Lithuania can properly bandage him, dropping both hands to his shoulder and squeezing tightly. He'd wipe at his eyes, but his hands are covered in blood now... just like his sweater. And jeans aren't that good at being towels, so blood all over his hands it is.

He almost sobs in relief when Faize says his name, though, clutching his shoulder and nodding, though the other likely can't see him.]

Y-yeah, it's me. P-Poland and Lithuania are patching you up, you're... someone hit you in the head, b-but you're gonna be okay. You'll be fine. J-Just rest, okay? But... stay awake. I need you to stay awake, okay?

[All this blood can't be Faize's. Actually. Now that she's not distracted. She turns to look at Hinata.

Who is also pretty bloody.]

...Were you guys play fighting or something again?

[...That doesn't make sense though.]

Um.

[Poland looks around for whatever it is that Faize might have whacked his head on.

...Are those legs.]
