week 7 - trial; day 1
![]() ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? setting rulebook |

Anyway, I could definitely strike between the bones perfectly if I wanted to, I live with skeletons. [clearly the most important part here stop insulting her pride Break god!!]

[ He just adds after she's finished, but he's not smiling as much as in this icon... Ignore that. ]
We never found a murder weapon that fits nicely. If it's the chain, the imprints are a problem, it it's a bat, then that certainly couldn't be used to cut off someone's head. However, your spears don't need to be hidden or cleaned. They have the blade that could be used to make the cuts, the polearm that could be used for the beatings, and they do not linger long enough to be evidence for us to use.

First off, not finding a weapon doesn't mean that one doesn't exist. We never found the weapon Vegeta used either which is why people started suspecting me and you and Faize, remember? Second, the shaft of my spear wouldn't be much good at beating someone's face in. [She summons her spear and hands it to Break so he can feel it out.] It's about as thin as your cane - if I hit him with it, it would have probably either left marks behind or split his entire skull open depending on how much strength I put behind it.
Third, if I was the type of person who didn't give a shit about who I murdered and would betray my own friends and set up this super complicated crime scene and stick someone's head on a record player as a sick joke, do you really think I'd be stupid or honorable enough to use my own weapon?!

I have no idea, honestly. My friend is dead, so it's my duty to examine every possibility. Surely you understand that, yes?
[ He starts to step away, so long as Undyne doesn't stop him. He's just going to head towards the body, since he'll go do his best to compare the two since he has the spear in hand anyways. Might as well... ]
So, if you'll excuse me. I'll return this in a moment.
