week 7 - trial; day 1

seven vices case 7 trial, day 1 ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. [ Nope! It is just a window! Sure looks plenty normal.

The dresser has a few more flowers and a small pile of ribbons on top of it, and the drawers hold the usual-- clothes. Don't rifle through her underwear, Bill. ]

[More flowers. She really liked them didn't she? Is there anything interesting about them or the ribbons? Could any of them possibly be green or purple? Because he might sneak one of those off too for reasons and it'd be best if it were green or purple.

He'll also go through the drawers. And sorry he's going to go through her underwear. Promise though that the only admiration he has for it is a fashionable admiration. He is not a pervert!! But just gotta make sure there isn't anything hidden in there. He's going through the rest of the clothes too, being gentle and respectful for all of it.

If anything he may pick up some final fashion tips from her before he leaves this room.]

[ There aren't many other places to look, they're about done here. It's... a little sad, in a way. Sorting through the dead's things is a lot more mentally taxing than he anticipated.

It's different, too.

He looks around the room one last time before walking to the door. He'll just wait here for Bill to finish up. ]

[It's really sad, right? And Bill's done this before. Then again, he didn't actually care then. Noticing Ranulf's moving, he quietly snatches one of the flowers after closing the drawers and follows.]

Think we should bring her spear or just note it down? I doubt it'd be relevant but...

[It's a weapon? He's not sure with this case it doesn't really make much sense to him. The whole thing. Who knows what and was not used??]
