seven vices case 7 - investigation ♫ friday On Friday morning, the loss of the motive isn't terribly noticeable. As there were no mental effects this week, and everyone had taken their envelopes to at least destroy them, it's almost impossible to tell that something is off. Unless of course you're getting up in the wee hours. Perhaps just to go to the bathroom? Whatever your reason, though, something is noticeably wrong--the power is out. >Investigate? cast setting

[Hey so it's ass o'clock in the morning on murder night and apparently the power's off but you know what the most concerning thing is? Alisha is decidedly not where she should be. She's also not in her room, apparently, which was the first place Faize checked after coming out of Hinata's room.]

[SO ONWARD DOWNSTAIRS THEN??? TO THE LOBBY? Flashlight in hand, Faize is trying to keep his voice steady, but it's hard when. You know. Murder night and your crush-maybe-girlfriend-who-really-knows is missing.]

[He really wants to believe that, Hinata. He does. But She said she'd be right back and then...that apparently didn't happen. How long ago had that even been? WHY HAD HE FALLEN BACK ASLEEP?]

[Faize stops dead in his tracks at the foot of the stairs. Hopefully Hinata wasn't following too close behind him because otherwise we're gonna have a teen pile-up here, and not the fun cuddle kind. But...there is blood all over the lobby. There is blood all over the fucking lobby and that makes it EVEN HARDER to believe the "Alisha is fine" thing. So much so, that the flashlight beam is actually starting to shake a little thanks to being in Faize's hand.]

[Hinata touching his arm at least gets him to snap back to Earth though, and he immediately heads over to examine...oh god it's a tooth. It's a fucking tooth OF COURSE IT'S A TOOTH. Just going to...pick that up, look at it for a second and then immediately start tearing across the first floor, looking in every room. Try and keep up, Hinata, because nothing's going to slow him down.]
