week 5 - execution & aftermath
![]() ♫ sunday After everyone has voted, the paper and photos will disappear. Miata will usher everyone outside, only allowing them to grab their coats and weather-appropriate gear, and lead them to the bonfire. Floating in the middle of the flames, a list appears, clear as day. >Gather? cast setting rulebook |
Deathshocks

So is anything going to happen to us? [ No weird pains, she's just rubbing at her eyes. It must be nap time again, where's Poland. ]
no subject
[Maybe that means... um.]
Are they losing their touch or something?
no subject
Hey, you up for a nap?
no subject
Also she has a serious tummy ache still. Lithuania glared at her too much yesterday. A nap sounds like a good idea.]
Sure.
no subject
Shes already on her way back to the hotel because there is no time to waste. ] Your room's closer to the stairs. [ Important things to keep track of. ]
no subject
Man Sadie moves when she's properly motivated.]
Okay lets go to my room then!

But now she's just slouching like she's ready to pass out on the ground. ] Ugh, how late is it?
no subject
...late, I guess. But trials are always long. [ He's slouching a bit too, but luckily being sick all the time means he's used to dealing with it.]
no subject
He's... not sure what he's expecting. Body aches from the explosion, maybe, or stabbing pains from shrapnel? For once, it's more subtle than that, leaving him wrapping his arms tightly around him to ward off a sudden chill. His cheeks flush, and he wobbles, suddenly dizzy.
At least he doesn't fall this time! That's a plus. He looks pretty unsteady, though.]
no subject
monthweek?Roxy approaches, worried. She'll stand close in case he does fall. Do u need to be princess carried to your room? ... Because that might be difficult. ]
How bad is it, scale of 1 to 10.
no subject
[He shivers and tucks his hands under his arms, trying to curl up what little he can. It's at once too hot to do that, and way too cold.]
It just... feels like I'm sick. A fever, you know? It's... not the worst thing I've experienced, that's for sure.
[That headache week one sure was something. Not to mention the stomach pains? Just let him run the whole gauntlet.
If he can, though, he's just going to try to leeeaaannn forward and rest his forehead on Roxy's shoulder. Why y'all gotta be shorter than him at all times.]
no subject
[ Who decides these shitty deathshocks? She needs to have a Word with them, and that word is "leave the bagel alone, goddamn".
At least she's not as short as some of the others, only about a 5 inch difference.
Assuming I can do mathShe'll pat the back of his head with one hand and just sorta leans her head against his. A head hug. ]Maybe if we ask nicely folks'll stop offin' envys.
no subject
Headhug is nice, though, and he relaxes against her shoulder, humming quietly and huffing an unamused laugh through his nose.]
Yeah, I... can't argue with that.
[He's too cold from the fever to want to stay out for long, though, and with a soft groan, he pulls his head away from her shoulder to glance toward her.]
I... think I might head in. Get some blankets and something warm to drink and just... try to wait this out.
...Want to come?

Are you feeling all right?
[Gilbert's feverish too, obviously, but he looks more irritated than anything. At least this isn't as bad as the stomach pains or headaches.]
no subject
How're you feeling...?
no subject
[They got off a little mild today...! A blessing. Maybe the murder gods are looking down at them like "these poor weenies need a break".]
...Let's hope this is the last of it for us.
[DON'T DIE HINAT. HE DOESN'T WANT TO DIE EITHER. THEY GOTTA MAKE IT.]
no subject
[THE ONLY TWO LEFT STANDING he's glad Gilbert's still here, honestly. A good dude? A fellow abused friend.]
We'll just have to keep doing our best, right...? At least we both have people we can rely on.
no subject
Right... [A nod! He's got his fellow old grandpa and that's miraculously been working out pretty well for them both so far.] And if we're right to believe that the ones making contact with you really are the rest of us, then... we still have time to turn this around.

Man she never wants to experience the things you guys experience.]
You okay?
no subject
I... yeah. Fever, I think.
[Just kind of forces a smile and nods to her. Don't worry about him, friend!]
I've had a lot worse in the last couple weeks, I'll... be okay. Thanks.
no subject
Does that help?
[This is the woman who helped treat a burn victim Friday morning.
Really though she's just trying to cheer him up a little.]
no subject
Poland!!
[He hops a little bit and tries to shake out his shirt, but it doesn't help, part of it's melted and soaked his shirt through and--?? Why this.
It definitely does take his mind off the execution, though, so... there's that.]
