week 5 - day 2 trial
![]() ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn, after which everyone is expected to have cast their votes. >Discuss? [ She looks very hesitant ]
If there was a third person in the kitchen at the time, and the gas sinking bought them a few seconds to run, they'd at least have been seen in the chaos before Lithuania-san and the rest reached the kitchen.

... This is so idiotic. How long is it going to take for them to realize who is truly behind this, I wonder?

[She really wants to brag about how it looks like she was right but maybe she'll just do it later?? They haven't voted yet, she can still be wrong.]

That's her friend, asshole! Of course she's gonna defend her until the end! Only a heartless bastard would let their friends die without a fight!

It could have been grabbed from the clothes store, used to implicate someone as the killer.

[Hinata sounds absolutely serious about that, and the way his expression is set, it's like he's not really seeing Undyne at all.]
That's the kind of thing that only makes things worse. Seizing an opportunity instead of stopping it... that's not solving anything. That's taking advantage of someone else's plan for your own gain.

[ Guess who sounds absolutely livid here? This girl. ]
Even if they killed a murderer, they still utilized the evidence that was planted to implicate me to get away with it. It's even possible that the scarf was supposed to be a red herring pointed to myself as well.
