seven vices case 5 trial, day 2 ♫ sunday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. [Normally Undyne would be the first to volunteer, but since this is a matter of not having ridiculous strength...] I'm probably too big to fit into it anyway, especially since Hinata can't! [AND SHE IS WAY BIGGER THAN THAT WEENIE]

But whoever we send in there should also check out where the vent to Inaba's room connects to while they're at it. Satori does live right next to her....

We can't overlook anything, even if you do belong to Sloth! [aka the sin too lazy to ever kill anyone if Sans is any indication] You could have blasted it open with your danmaku in and then hurled Cheshire's cat form in there!

If I did it with danmaku, there would be burn marks, which Hinata probably would have mentioned.

[She can't prove she didn't do it, because all she has is an uncorroborated alibi, but she can prove that it wasn't her danmaku that did it, at least.]

Well...[Okay, she can't say anything against that.] Still, just because you say you wouldn't crawl into a vent doesn't mean it's true.

For the record, I would never throw a cat, either, but I can't prove that any more than I can prove I wouldn't be in the vents.

[Not that she thinks anyone seriously considered the possibility of throwing Cheshire down a vent, but her reputation is at stake here???]

More like someone else who is small and human crawled through the vents. It is always the least likely one to suspect.

Satori's super tiny too! [but okay she can't argue against Dhaos' totally reasonable and justified racism against humans] So are you saying you think Inaba broke the vent in her room herself to make us think she's being framed?

...Undyne, I do not believe Inaba, Bill, nor Satori had a hand in it in light of the new information. But I shall consider that Inaba could have framed herself.

[ Dhaos is not going to literally let it come hand to hand until post-trial okay. But he is also a fan of challenging someone to strategy things. And for once he'd like to be right...! ]

Now I can add "Literally could not fit" to my list of reasons I wouldn't go into the vent. So there's that, at least.

[She's actually kind of enormously relieved? It did look really bad that her room just happened to be closest to Inaba's.

Incidentally, the rest of the reasons were "Too much effort," "That's disgusting," and "What if dust got in my third eye?"]
