week 5 - day 1 trial
![]() ♫ saturday At 9AM, every television will go off, loud enough to wake anyone sleeping. The calm, apathetic voice will advise everyone to gather in the chapel for the trial. Static will continue to blare in the head of anyone dillydallying. Once all of the guests have gathered in the chapel, the doors will lock. Most of the pews have been moved aside to allow for more space, and a few tables have been set up on the altar. On the first, there is an additional copy of the rulebook, and the information cards of the victim and suspects laid out, with space for the suspects to provide their whereabouts, as well as an autopsy report. There is also a large wheeled chalkboard upon which you may write theories. On the second table is a pitcher of water and some glasses, as well as very simple sandwiches and pastries. The door behind the altar has finally been unlocked. It's a rather plain room with an area set off by a folding screen. Inside, you will find a table on which the victim's body has been laid out. Next to the table, two black and white photographs have been hung on the screen. they are close ups of the victim's body, as it was found when the body discovery announcement chimed. A few sticks of incense burn in the corner to avoid any smells. At 6PM, the trial will adjourn. Everyone will be escorted back to the hotel by Miata, after which everyone is allowed to head to either the kitchen to get dinner, or to their rooms. Attempting to wander off into the other areas of the hotel will trigger the static alarms in everyone's heads/televisions. >Discuss? VOTING setting rulebook |

But fine, she sighs and goes back to Poland. ] Why would I? He was weird. [ Don't speak ill... She goes over to both beds and checks under them before yawning. ] I guess he doesn't even live here.

[Walking around with Break's freaking eye. Ugh.]
Maybe he just hung out in other people's rooms a lot.
[Poland checks Cheshire's bathroom. Vegeta can assist in the search here right?]
no subject
There's also nothing of note in Cheshire's bathroom. He's barely ever in his room, sorry. )

She throws off the covers off a bed and hops onto it, settling in. ] So, skipping out last time was pretty awesome. Wanna do it again?
no subject
Huh.
[Poland goes over to the other bed, wrestling with the sheets a little bit to see if there's anything in them.]
Yeah I don't want to go back yet. [Poland's really interested in finding those keys though!]

[ She'll roll over and check the bedside table at least. Anything in the notepad or drawers? ]
no subject
[Poland will go check the dresser!]

Poland will find the notepad and pen. There are also some children books from the school. The notepad has a few attempts from him in making letters. There are scratches in the paper. )
no subject
So this dude was basically like a three year old.
no subject
I know he couldn't read at least... [Poland's guessing this is what the children's books are for. Also the attempts at making letters.
Poland studies the scratches a little more closely. Does she need to be doing pencil tricks to decipher a secret message.]
no subject
And Poland could do a pencil trick if she wanted to? But the paper is just scratched and torn in some places, huh. )

[No Poland's not giving up, she wants to find something interesting!!
She'll flip through the children's books quickly before going back to the torn up scratched up paper.]
...Do you think there's a reason this paper is all jacked up or am I just desperate to find something interesting about it?
[Where didn't she look yet. Cheshire possess some candy help them out from the great beyond or something!!]

Or there was something he didn't like on it.
no subject
Who knows. Maybe it will solve the case.]
Alright I give up.

One day we're going to find a corpse. [ Hopefully! ]
