The idea of killing to improve one's chances is an idea I have understood from the beginning. It's the ultimate gamble, but a great "reward", does not come without stakes equally as great. I may disagree with such a course of action, myself, but I do understand the thought process behind it. And why one might be driven to take such a gamble.
