seven vices week 4 28 players remaining ♫ monday - thursday Monday morning begins just like the rest, slow and uneasy. At 12pm, every television will go off with its usual bout of static, followed by a calm, albeit disinterested, voice. "Please gather in the hotel lobby within the next hour." That's all that it says before the televisions turn off. Anyone not in their rooms will hear the voice echoing around them as if through a speaker system, although there are (still) no speakers present. After hearing the motive, characters who choose to explore will find that the void around the town has retracted a bit, and there is now a police station to the far east of the chapel. On the chapel wall near the altar, black and white portraits of Youko, Zelos, and Morrigan have been hung up. Anyone looking for them will find that Youko's pink shoes and the fragments of Zelos's crystal are now gone. >Mingle? This is Week 4's mingle log, covering Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. [ Now, granted, all of these motives are pretty terrible, but this one hits particularly close to home for Break in particular. It's easy to see him tense up as soon as being able to fix your mistakes comes up, but it's clearly not in temptation or anything like it. His eye widens in shock, but it's also quick to set his expression into one of soft anger instead. ]

...Ridiculous.

[ That part is muttered under his breath, but he does speak a little more clearly. ]

Tampering with the past is a mistake. It won't bring anyone what they're looking for.

[ As for the clip, it's only a few moments, but it's of a young girl crying over a pair of coffins, and Break (though with much longer hair) turning to leave the room. ]

Monday, morning--afternoon, police station

[ Dhaos had naturally decided that it would be wise to explore the large place, once it appeared, and well, if it had been explored properly. Perhaps there would be hiden passage-ways leading to an exit outside of the magical barrier of the void?

... Nah. He wasn't that naive.

The first thing he is checking out does happen to be the office room, after he steps right in. He tries to pull on the filing cabinet with brute force, but to no avail, and he squints at it suspiciously. Instead he goes to take a look at the mugshots--perhaps a familiar face or something will speak to him.

Later, though, he's going to be checking out that jail cell, yep. ]

Tuesday, afternoon, chapel

[ Dhaos seems to make at least a decision to come here once a week, and here he is now. It seldom seems occupied, for sure, and it was just another place to be alone. If someone comes within, he will seem to pay them no mind, or perhaps seem unaware of their presence. ]

[There's a gentler smile in response to that, even as she shakes her head. Selena's a soldier, okay... she doesn't really have the right to judge someone playing the game in a situation this tense, though she does think murder is despicable.

But circumstances that push a young girl into it?

It's not really Buddy's fault.]

Rather, I, too, would like to be on hand if something happens. Though we have not had much luck thus far... perhaps between the both of us, further deaths can be prevented.

[ It's not that she's afraid. God knows her friends have committed murders for worse reasons than Buddy (looking at you Shion). But she's just to tired of it. Getting the hope of breaking the unending June, promptly being plopped in murdertown, making a genuine friend for the first time in literal centuries, and then that friend goes and kills someone.

Probably, I'd say. That's sort of how this works, right? Feel terrible for a whole week and wonder if you're going to kill or be killed Thursday night. Kind of routine now.

[Laima backs up a little and sits in front of Rhys when he yelps, watching him from a distance instead of up close.]

[Satori won't budge from the room with the monitor in it until it's time for bed - she'll be writing furiously in the book mentioned on her profile. Instead of a novel, though, it seems to be a letter to someone. She's so engrossed in writing that she won't notice anyone looking over her shoulder initially, and they might be able to read a part of it before she realizes they're there:

[Tuesday mid-to-late afternoon, lobby]

[Even with the motive in mind, there's still something that's been bothering Satori. Today, she'll be going up to people, looking them right in the eye, and saying, with complete seriousness:]

Tell me what DILF means.

[Wednesday morning, general store]

[Satori has tasked herself with the sacred duty of finding fish, because she's finally decided she wants to properly befriend the cats here. She's found some canned tuna, but there's a problem.]

...How do you open these?

[THERE ARE NO CAN OPENERS IN GENSOKYO. I mean there's probably one in Rinnosuke's shop somewhere but not in Old Hell at least.]

[Satori can be found being Pensive And Moody throughout the whole week as a rule. Last week she shut herself up, but this week she at least seems to be making an effort not to do that. People can harass her about her attitude problem, being a shut-in, her clip on the monitor, or nothing in particular.]
