[That's the sound of Gilbert getting smacked soundly in the face by a very heavy robot arm... There's also a little "pauf" noise as he immediately grabs his nose and tips over into the snow like the balance-less twig he is.

Will Rhys be joining him in snowy hell soon?? Gilbert's still rolling to the side and reeling, but he'll check on his poor comrade soon...]

[ oh yes, rhys will absolutely be joining gilbert in snowy hell. when rhys hits gilbert, he lets out another yelp and tries to grab for him... with the same hand. ]

Sorryyyy! Agh!

[ he ends up grabbing the front of gilbert's shirt before his arm shorts out again and down he goes, into the snow and on top of gilbert. why is this happening to them? why now? why this? he probably lands arm first on gilbert too, which is going to hurt, but at least he immediately tries to roll off after! pa...rtly because his arm is making him, honestly. ]

[There's another very undignified sound when the wind is practically KNOCKED OUT OF HIM BY THIS HEAVYASS ROBOT ARM that's apparently out for his life, but ugh, he's free soon...

And there goes Rhys, rolling off into the snow. Good bye, Rhys...]

[ rhys is desperately digging into the snow with his flesh hand and sort of curling up to try and keep his arm from dragging him off into hell, but it's making a valiant effort. good job, arm! way to ruin this entire day for him! ]

My arm is going crazy. I don't know why!

[ except gilbert is a victorian who probably doesn't know the intricacies of having an arm that's also a super computer. this will go... well?! no. ]

[Gilbert definitely has no idea what a super computer arm means. He just knows that Rhys' arm looks weird?? And now it's apparently going turbo trying to kill him and everyone around him?!]

Is it possessed—?! [Oh my god what was it that Selena had said earlier--] Is it cursed.

[ you know what, that's an unfair assessment when his arm is generally pretty nice the rest of the time! heck, sometimes it even helps them! this is a collective responsibility when it comes to rhys' arm and he doesn't appreciate it being called cursed. ]

Things don't just get cursed, Gilbert! That isn't a thing that just happens!

[ rhys, you're in murdertown, lithuania. sometimes these things happen. ]

Isn't this entire town a curse?! You should— ask Miata about it, maybe! Maybe she knows why it's doing that!

[Or maybe she'll just laugh rudely at Rhys as his arm tries to beat him up.]

[ probably that last one and even rhys knows it. he just looks baffled at gilbert before hissing out at him: ]

[ and it's as if his arm knows he's shittalking miata because it just sort of swings forward and rhys is taken with it, landing face first in the snow. whoops! ]

[Oops, there goes Rhys... Gilbert scrambles up and over because clearly he can't be left alone to die in the snow!]

She might! Or, er— well, she might not... But what other option do you have?

[Reaching for the arm that isn't freaking out to try helping him up...]

I don't know! I don't know, man. Oh god.

[ rhys is grateful for gilbert's help and grabs for his hand with his flesh hand. except it seems like his robot hand gets jealous and immediately swings upwards, closing in a fist to aim right for gilbert's stomach. oh my god?? oh dear. ]

[Ah, robot hand jealousy. This is an experience he could have gladly gone without!

BUT TRAGICALLY, IT ENTERS HIS LIFE ON THIS DAY... He doesn't go flying too badly, since he's surprisingly heavy and hard to kick around for a beanpole (Break is a much better option if you really want to see someone go sailing...), but he does just... kind of... you know, fly off to the side a bit and land in a snowdrift with a graceless WHUMP and a strangled:]

[At which point he just lies there because wow, being punched with a robot arm hurts?! THAT HURTS A LOT. Good thing he has his Mysterious Durability.]
